This study aims to measure the technical efficiency score and management factors that affect glutinous rice production of farmers in rainfed area of Maha Sarakham Province. Cross-section data of wet season farmers in Maha Sarakham for 2011/12 crop year is used by purposive sampling. There are two soil groups, soil group no. 24 and no.40 totaling 120 household samples. The study uses Stochastic Frontier Production Function indicated that human labour, machine labour, fertiliser and seeds that are the main factors in glutinous rice production and the glutinous rice yield in the area exhibit increasing returns to scale.
