| Irrigated rice breeding project for Northeast Thailand was carried out to improve photoperiod insensitive glutinous rice variety for blast disease and gall midge resistant. The selected promising line; KKN04023-NKI-14-2-6-1, was finally obtained. The promising line was selected from the population of the cross between PTT97100-B-116-3-3 and KKN97031-NKI-B-B-122-1-1 which PTT97100-B-116-3-3 was used as female parent and KKN97031-NKI-B-B-122-1-1 as male parent. This line is photoperiod insensitive glutinous rice. Its harvesting time is about 131 days after sowing, plant height was 120 cm.
