ABSTRACT: The objective of this research was to evaluate the yield of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) under the influence of three levels of soil water tension. The research was carried out at the Embrapa Cerrados, Planaltina - DF. We used an experimental design of randomized blocks with three replications. The treatments consisted of three levels of soil water tension, namely 30 kPa, 60 kPa and 500 kPa and five peanut cultivars: Tupã, Tatu, Oirã, Poitara and Caiapó under microsplinkler irrigation. The results showed that different levels of soil water tension applied on the moment of irrigation influenced the yield at a statistic and significant level. The irrigated treatment at tension of 500 kPa supplanted all others. It showed an increase of 61,4% in... |
