| Výsadby ovocných dřevin na vyšších kmenných tvarech, kam patří vysokokmeny, případně i polokmeny, mají zpravidla podobu extenzivních sadů, alejí, stromořadí, skupinových výsadeb, ale i solitérů. Tyto výsadby obohacují krajinu a významně podporují biologickou rozmanitost. Přestože z hospodářských důvodů pěstování ovoce na vyšších kmenných tvarech silně ustoupilo, tento způsob produkce je životaschopný a vhodný především pro ekologicky hospodařící podniky. Příručka poskytuje zemědělcům informace pro úspěšnou ekologicky a ekonomicky udržitelnou produkci stolního i průmyslového ovoce na vyšších kmenných tvarech.Překlad švýcarského originálu je upraven a doplněn komentáři, které zohledňují tradiční formy ovocnářství v ČR, zejména v marginálních oblastech. |

| Organic fruit and wine producers have to use organically produced plant material if available on the market. To support and enhance this difficult production sector a project was started in 2003 funded by the Coop Naturaplan Fonds. The improvement or development of better methods for fertilization, soil management, growth regulation and plant protection are the main objectives of this project. In our trials with apple trees we found that an intensification of the nitrogen fertilization including application of foliar fertilizers did not result in a better quality of young trees. The use of the bacterial bio-fertilizer BactoFil® Professional-2 without any nitrogen fertilization increased the tree quality under our conditions. In another experiment... |

| Aus Gründen einer genügenden Wasser- und Nährstoffversorgung bedarf der Baumstreifen in Niederstammanlagen einer Beikrautregulierung. Erfolgt diese ohne Herbizide wird der Baumstreifen entweder mit organischen Materialien (Baumrinde, Holzhäcksel, Stroh) oder wasserdurchlässigem Kunststoffgewebe abgedeckt oder durch Hacken mit Spezialgeräten offen gehalten. Beide Methoden bergen jedoch gewichtige Nachteile in sich. Bei der Abdeckung sind dies die hohen Materialkosten, der z. T. hohe Kalieintrag (Erhöhung der Stippegefahr) und der erhöhte Mäusedruck. Das herkömmliche Hacken ist zeitintensiv, die Anschaffungs- und Wartungskosten geeigneter Hackgeräte sind hoch. | Conclusions and further studies The significant reduction of T. pyri and of larvae of predaceous gall midges, the complete loss of mite-diversity and the possible enhancement of P. ulmi and other harmful mites (i.e. C. vitis) are clear disadvantages of lime sulphur. Densities of T. pyri between 0.5 and 1 mite per leaf as mentioned to be necessary for controlling harmful mites (BOURQUIN 1989, FORTMANN 1993, HARZER 1993, KARG 1992, KOHLER ET AL. 1991), were never reached in lime sulphur treatment, while the untreated control always showed densities above this value. | In Malaysia an intensively managed high input full sun cocoa plantation can reach high yields of 1.5 to 2 t dry beans per ha. Following a high production period of 10 years the yields often decrease markedly. Focusing on leading depleted cacao plantations sustainably back to full production a research project was initiated in June 2011 using a diversification approach with agroforestry systems. | La fiche technique comporte 32 pages et près de 100 illustrations décrivant les principales maladies et ravageurs en arboriculture biologique. Pour chaque maladie et chaque ravageur, la fiche comprend une illustration et différents sous chapitres "Comment le reconnaître?", "Important à savoir", "Comment se prémunir?", "Comment lutter directement?". Un plan récapitulatif indique les mesures à prendre pour lutter contre un ravageur donné et à quel moment les appliquer. Le chapitre "techniques d'application" explique comment utiliser correctement un produit phytosanitaire. La fiche est complétée par un tableau décrivant brièvement les principales substances autorisées et les méthodes de lutte. |

| In der Landwirtschaft herrscht ein zunehmendes Spannungsfeld zwischen ökologischen und ökonomischen Vorgaben. Ein innovativer Ansatz, der sowohl Anforderungen an eine nachhaltige Bewirtschaftung wie auch an wettbewerbsfähige Produktion erfüllen kann, ist die Agroforstwirtschaft. Da es in der Schweiz noch keine Agroforstbetriebe gibt, haben wir in Deutschland anhand einer Fallstudie untersucht, wie in der Praxis die Wirtschaftlichkeit eines Agroforstsystems berechnet werden kann. | Einleitung Das Pflanzenschutzmittel Biofa Cocana RF ist im schweizerischen Bio-Kernobstanbau das einzige zugelassene Mittel zur Bekämpfung der Regenfleckenkrankheit. Da es sich bei diesem Produkt um eine Kali-Seifenlösung handelt, besteht die Möglichkeit, dass es nach dessen Einsatz zu einer geschmacklichen Beeinträchtigung des Endproduktes Apfelsaft, bzw. Süssmost kommen könnte. Eine Untersuchung an der Hochschule Wädenswil mit Apfelsäften, denen Cocana zugesetzt wurde, kam zum Schluss, dass es einen Zusammenhang zwischen Kaliseife und Fremdgeschmack geben könnte.
