Soybeans grown under water stress associated with high temperatures during seed maturation and pre-harvest may produce green seed (GS) with expressive reduction in seed quality. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the response of different soybean cultivars grown under these stressful conditions regarding their susceptibility to GS production and to determine the chlorophyll retention levels and the chlorophyllase activity in the seeds. Tabebuia serratifolia is used for the reforestation of degraded areas. Despite protection by law for permanent preservation, the species is in danger of extinction due to improper exploitation. With the objective to aid preservation and long term storage of the species we evaluated morphophysiological alterations of T. serratifolia seeds during the maturation process in order to identify markers that can be used for harvesting and storage. The objective of this experiment was to investigate effect of accelerated aging after sweet pepper seeds were primed with two types of chemical solutions. The experiment was conducted at Seed Technology Laboratory Section in Seed Processing Plant, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University. The sweet pepper seeds were soaked in two types of solutions: 1) 2.5%Chitosan 2) 2%KNO3 at 15oC for 5 hours. Germination test (sand test) of storage condition of treated field corn seed, SW. 5 variety was carried out in 2 conditions, room temperature (25 deg C +- 2 deg C) and control room (13 deg C +- 2 deg C, 45 percent RH.) storage for 6 months. There were 8 treatments including 7S+SPt 360, 7S+ KPS 46, 7S+SW 01/4, SW 01/4+SPt 360, SW 01/4+KPS 46, SPt 360+KPS 46, bacterial suspension KPS 46 and non-treated (control). Rice seed accelerated aging for longevity evaluation in humid tropic was conducted in order to study the temperature and optimum duration for evaluation of seed longivity at Krabi Rice Research Center during 2012-2013. Rice seeds from rice planted in both wet and dry seasons were used. By storing the rice seeds in plastic bags at room temperature and every month rice seeds were monitored and quality testing, another part seeds were aged in nearly 100 percent relative humidity at 40, 42, 44 and 46 0C for 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours. For yield assessment, the experiment was conducted under field conditions in the dry seasons and the late rainy seasons during November 2009 to February 2011 in a randomized completed block design with five replications. Study of sunn hemp seed development and maturation was studied at the Department of Plant Science, Faculty of Natural Resources, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai campus, Hat Yai, Songkhla, during March-June, 2008. The blooming flowers were tagged to indicate the date of flowering. Pods at 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34, 37, 40, 43 and 46 days after flowering were harvested to investigate pod color, seed color and seed quality. ข้าวขึ้นน้ำพันธุ์ใหม่ "ขาวบ้านนา 432" Thai Agricultural

Khao Bahn Nah 432 (KBN 432) is a photoperiod sensitive floating rice variety. The harvesting period is about 10-14 December. The average yield is 2.8 tons/ha, whereas Plai Ngahm Prachinburi (PNG) is 2.0 tons/ha. The percentage of the yield is over PNG about 35%. The variety has good elongation ability. The result had shown good performance at water level 110 cms depth. It was better than RD19 (deepwater rice) but less than Pin Gaew 56 (Floating rice). The average of plant height is 218 cms (depend on water level). The reactions of bacterial leaf blight and brown planthopper of KBN432 is susceptible. The tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) seeds are very small. It cause very difficult to sowing. The tobacco seedling are easy infection by pathogens, caused by unevenness of germination. Therefore, this experiment was pelleted of tobacco seeds with different chemical fungicides and tested of pelleted seeds for seed quality and longevity storage. The experiment was conducted at Seed Processing Plant, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University. The tobacco seeds were pelleted with pumice 150 g. per 3 g. as filler and used hydroxylpropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) at a concentration of 4% by weight as binder.
