| KONFERENS OM EKOLOGISKT LANTBRUK Centrum för uthålligt lantbruk (CUL) anordnade den 13 till 15 november 2001 en sjunde konferens om ekologiskt lantbruk vid Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet (SLU). På konferensen deltog cirka 450 personer och alla med ett intresse för ekologiskt lantbruk var välkomna. Under den tre dagar långa konferensen redovisade 92 forskare resultat från forskning inom ekologiskt lantbruk och redde ut begrepp. Intressanta ämnen som diskuterades var till exempel: hur global livsmedelsförsörjning och ekologiskt lantbruk kan gå ihop, ekologiska produkters kvalitet, djurens hälsa och välfärd på ekologiska gårdar, samt det ekologiska lantbrukets verkan som en positiv kraft för ökad livsmedelssäkerhet och en mer rättvis världshandel.... |

| Der Tagungsband fasst die Vorträge der 15. Freiland-Tagung/22. IGN-Tagung zu den Themen Rinderhaltung (tiergerechte Rindermast, Milchviehhaltung mit und ohne Hörner, intensiv und extensiv), Schweinehaltung (v. a. tiergerechte Abferkelbuchten), Ziegenhaltung, Legehennen-, Wasser- und Mastgeflügelhaltung sowie Kaninchenhaltung ausführlich und übersichtlich zusammen. Zahlreiche Abbildungen und Tabellen ergänzen den Text. Die Tagung fand am 25. und 26.9.2008 an der Veterinärmedizinischen Universität Wien satt. |

| A data analysis based on the Danish Cattle Data Base shows that organic Holstein-Friesian cows have significantly higher frequencies of liver abscesses (LA) than conventional Holstein-Friesian cows (8% versus 5%). Based on a questionnaire among 91 organic dairy herds, a statistical analysis was made in order to identify which feeding and management factors that were related to the level of LA in the herds. Compared with conventional herds, the feed ration in organic herds had a lower energy and fatty acid level and a higher starch level. During summer season the organic herds had a lower level of digestible cell walls in the ration. Organic herds with a higher grazing level had a higher level of LA (P=0.012). | In many intensively cultivated areas, surface and ground waters suffer from eutrophication and deterioration of the water quality: To improve the environmental protection actions of agriculture, EU countries have adopted common legislation, such as Nitrate Directive and the Water Framework Directive, which set limits to the use of manure and aim at good ecological state of waters by 2015, respectively. | Der Frage nach der Systembewertung der Tierhaltung im ökologischen Landbau sind über 40 Experten aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum im Rahmen eines KTBL-Fachgespräches vom 25. bis 26. April 2007 an der Fachhochschule Eberswalde nachgegangen, das im Rahmen des Bundesprogramms Ökologischer Landbau gefördert wurde. Die Ergebnisse sind in einer KTBL-Schrift wiedergegeben. Die ökologische Tierhaltung erhebt für sich den Anspruch, in hohem Maße den Anforderungen an eine umweltschonende und tiergerechte sowie sozial und ökonomisch nachhaltige Tierhaltung gerecht zu werden. | This proceedings summarize the results of the first EUCARPIA symposium on Organic Plant Breeding - Plant breeding for organic and sustainable, low-input agriculture: dealing with genotype-environment interactions - that took place in Wageningen in November 2007. EUCARPIA is the European Association for Research on Plant Breeding. | Im Projekt „Mit Vielfalt punkten – Bauern beleben die Natur“ erforschten und erprobten das FiBL und die Vogelwarte Sempach seit 2009 Massnahmen und Instrumente, um die Biodiversität auf Landwirtschaftsbetrieben wirksam zu fördern. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass die Produktion von Nahrungsmitteln sehr wohl mit der Erhaltung und Förderung der Biodiversität vereinbar ist, ja sogar ökonomische Vorteile bringen kann. An der Schlussveranstaltung vom 30. Juni 2017 wurden die wichtigsten Resultate einem breiteren Publikum vorgestellt und deren Stellenwert für die Weiterentwicklung nachhaltiger Produktions- und Ernährungssysteme mit Akteuren aus Verwaltung, Politik und Markt beleuchtet und diskutiert. |
