| The effects of enzyme complex SSF (solid state fermentation) on growth performance and the availability of sucrose and monosaccharides in the chyme of Nile were involved. The study included 360 fish (70g±4.43) in a completely randomized design with six dietary treatments (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 ppm of SSF) arranged in six replicates, with 10 fish per replicate. Every 15 days, one tilapia of each experimental unit was sacrificed for analyses of carbohydrate in the chyme. On day 60 of the experiment, the performance parameters were measured. | Um ensaio de digestibilidade foi conduzido para avaliar os efeitos da suplementação de ração com um complexo enzimático contendo celulase, protease e amilase sobre a digestibilidade dos nutrientes em juvenis de tilápia-do-nilo (Oreochromis niloticus). | O experimento foi realizado para se avaliar a composição química da silagem de resíduos de peixe acrescida de 30% de farelo de trigo e o desempenho de alevinos de tilápia-do-nilo, recebendo níveis de 0, 10, 20 e 30% desta silagem na dieta. Utilizaram-se resíduos do filetamento de tilápia-do-nilo, que foram picados manualmente, moídos, aquecidos durante 15 minutos a 105°C. | Este experimento foi realizado com o objetivo de avaliar os efeitos de diferentes níveis de substituição da proteína do farelo de soja (FS) pela proteína do farelo de canola (FC) sobre o desempenho e características de carcaça da tilápia do Nilo (Oreochromis niloticus), na fase de crescimento. | Estudaram-se as respostas comportamentais e fisiológicas de juvenis de tilápia do Nilo (Oreochromis niloticus) submetidos a diferentes cores de ambientes e situações sociais. The main goal of this study was to evaluate the effect of the endocrine disruptors 17β-estradiol (E2) and 17α-ethinyl estradiol (EE2) on the sexual differentiation of Nile tilapia during spawning. | The objective of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of five mathematical models (Gompertz, Logistic, Linear Hyperbolic, Quadratic and Quadratic Logarithmic) to describe the growth curve of GIFT strain Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, and to characterize the growth trajectory of body parts. | ABSTRACT The influence of water salinity on the culture of Nile tilapia with biofloc was evaluated using indicators of water quality, zootechnical performance and animal welfare. Five treatments of different salinities were adopted (0, 4, 8, 12 and 16 g L-1) with three replications. The tilapia were cultured for 90 days and stocked in glass fiber tanks (800 L) at a density of 30 fish m-3 with a mean initial weight of 93.8 ± 0.89 g.
