| Bijen en graafwespen langs kanaal Almelo-Nordhorn met aandacht voor andere insecten In 2001 hebben medewerkers van EIS-Nederland in opdracht van de Provincie Overijssel een inventarisatie uitgevoerd van de bijen- en graafwespenfauna van Kanaal Almelo-Nordhorn. Er zijn 56 soorten bijen en 26 soorten graafwespen gevonden. Hieronder zijn twee bijzondere bijen (Andrena gravida en Lasioglossum fratellum) en drie bijzondere graafwespen (Ectemnius lituratus, Mimesa bruxellensis en Mimumesa beaumonti). In dit rapport worden deze resultaten besproken en gaat tevens aandacht uit naar het voorkomen van enkele andere bijzondere insecten langs dit kanaal. | De rups van den „Kanarievlinder" (Hileud hoeis) is donker bruin met lichtere zijstrepen, de eerste lichaamsring en de naschuivers rood, voorts eene serie van dorsale bulten met witte haren begroeid. Pooten bruin. De lengte bedraagt ongeveer 45—50 mM. Behalve aan kanarie kunnen de rupsen zeer schadelijk zijn aan advocaat, mangga, kaneel en kina (DAMMERMAN). Zij spinnen fraaie goudkleurige, mazige cocons, waarin de pop zichtbaar ligt. De rups van C. andrei Jord. is geheel anders; dorsaal appelgroen, ventraal iets donkerder met laterale geelgroene lengtelijn onder de stigmata, groenachtig bruinen kop, kleine roseroode dorsale wratjes, waarop donkere haren. | Pauropoda of weinigpoten zijn nauw verwant aan de miljoenpoten en duizendpoten. Het is een weinig bestudeerde diergroep, die bestaat uit kleine, witte en blinde bodemdieren die nauwelijks opvallen. Het meest kenmerkende zijn de gevorkte antennen, die wat bouw betreft uniek zijn ten opzichte van andere ongewervelden. Er zijn slechts acht soorten gemeld uit Nederland, alle behorend tot het genus Allopauropus. Recentelijk is een nieuwe soort, uit het genus Pauropus, in het westen van het land aangetroffen. Het betreft dus ook een nieuw genus voor de Nederlandse fauna. In dit artikel wordt de nieuwe soort voorgesteld, beschrijven we de habitat en geven we informatie over de verspreiding. |

| New records of the rare wasps Microdynerus exilis and Chrysis gracillima in the Netherlands (Hymenoptera: Vespidae, Chrysididae) Microdynerus exilis and Chrysis gracillima have been rarely recorded in recent times in the Netherlands. New records were the impulse to compile the records of these two species. Only Microdynerus nugdunensis is known in literature as potential host for M. exilis. It seems sure that M. exilis is the main host of C. gracillima in the Netherlands, considering the distribution patterns (fig. 3-5), several records of both species at the exact same locality and the congruent pattern of records over the year (fig. 6). |

| NOTIZEN ÜBER PARNASSIUS MNEMOSYNE EPLEKTUS RÜ TIMEYER UND P.M.PHAIOHYALINUS RÜ TIMEYER Herr E. Rütimeyer hat in 1969 (Ent. Ges. Basel, (N.F.) 19 (4): 111 und 112-113) zwei Unterarten von Parnassius mnemosyne L. beschrieben. P. mnemosyne ekplektus Rütimeyer, Topotypus: Bund-Alp, oberhalb Griesalp, 1680 m, oberes Kiental. Merkwürdig ist, dass der Autor die ihm vorliegenden Exemplare, besonders die ♀, als denen der subsp. uralka Bryk und drenowskyi Bryk & Eisner nahestehend bezeichnet, anstatt sie mit in der Nähe fliegenden Unterarten zu vergleichen. Nach den Abbildungen zur urteilen, handelt es sich um P. mnemosyne L. von typisch schweizer Habitus. | Disophrys ovalis Fahringer, 1937 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Agathidinae) from Egypt is redescribed and transferred to the genus Troticus Brullé, 1846 (comb. nov.) with Disophrys aegyptiaca Fahringer, 1937, as its junior synonym (syn. nov.). For the first time a reliable host record for the genus and for T. ovalis is given. The holotype of Troticus melamopterus Cameron, 1903 has been examined by the first author and is transferred to the genus Cremnops Foerster, 1862 (C. melamopterus Cameron, 1903 comb. nov.). |
