ODINECET (Ocean Data and Information network for the European Countries in Economical Transition) intends to create a network of marine libraries within the ECET region. ODINECET Training Course on Marine Information Management (Intermediate level) was held at the UNESCO/IOC Project Office for IODE Oostende – Belgium (19 – 23 November 2007). This Training course was a continuation of intended instruction within the framework of the ODINECET project. The Training Course was attended by 13 participants from 7 countries including Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. The main topic was dedicated to the creation of an ODINECET repository (CEEMaR – Central and Eastern Europe Marine Repository). |
