| Abstract: The objective of this work was to determine the most economically viable integrated no-tillage crop-livestock system by intercropping sorghum with tropical forages or dwarf pigeon pea, succeeded by soybean or corn, over a two-year period. The experiment was carried out in a randomized complete block design with four replicates. The treatments consisted of forage sorghum intercropped with: 'Marandu' grass; 'Marandu' grass and dwarf pigeon pea; 'Mombaça' grass; 'Mombaça' grass and dwarf pigeon pea; and dwarf pigeon pea and single sorghum, harvested for silage in the first cut and regrowth, succeeded by soybean or corn. | Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate the straw production and the agronomic performance of soybean intercropped with oversown forage species, in no-tillage system. | Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate the agronomic attributes and production efficiency of corn silage and grains in an integrated crop-livestock-forestry (ICLF) system, with intercropping of eucalyptus, corn, and Urochloa cultivars during three crop years. The experimental design was completely randomized, in 2x5x3 split-split plots with four replicates. | O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a resposta do feijoeiro a épocas de aplicação de N, em sistema plantio direto, após cultivo de milho solteiro ou consorciado com braquiária. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi em blocos ao acaso, com arranjo de parcelas subdivididas e quatro repetições. As parcelas consistiram de: cultivo de milho solteiro ou milho consorciado com braquiária, nas duas safras de verão precedentes à semeadura do feijão. As subparcelas consistiram de: três épocas de aplicação de 100 kg ha-1 de N, antes e na semeadura, e em cobertura; e uma testemunha, sem aplicação de N. | O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a influência, sobre a produtividade de grãos, da modalidade de consorciação da Brachiaria brizantha cultivar Marandu com a cultura do milho, em dois espaçamentos de semeadura, em sistema plantio direto. O experimento foi instalado em campo, em 2002/2003 e 2003/2004, na Fazenda Experimental Lageado (Unesp), Botucatu, SP. O delineamento experimental foi o de blocos ao acaso, em esquema fatorial simples 2x4, com quatro repetições. | Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate macronutrient uptake and export by transgenic corn hybrids under medium and high fertilization levels. For each fertilization level, a randomized complete block design was carried out in the summer crop season, under no-tillage and supplementary irrigation, with four cultivars and four replicates. Plants were sampled throughout the entire cycle and separated into leaves, stalk, husk, cob, and grains for the determination of dry matter mass and accumulation of macronutrients in the different growth stages. | Nitrogen is required in large amounts by plants and their dinamics in corn and perennial forages intercropped is little known. This study analyzed the efficiency of nitrogen fertilization (15NH4NO3) applied after corn grain harvest to palisadegrass (Brachiaria brizantha cv.
