| The native forests in the south of Minas Gerais represent 6% of paisage approximately, composed for forest fragments, in its great majority with inferior area ha 50 ha. This resulted of intense the forest devastation in this region, during centuries XIX and XX, mainly had the expansion of the farming sector. Currently it has intense rew in such a way in the authorities of the ambient sector, as also of the society, in the direction that if makes the ambient recovery, mainly with regard to resetting of ciliar bushes and protection of springs. With this objective the ciliar reforestation to the reservoir of Furnas in the city of Privets in 2002 was effected, totalizing 2,6 ha as area model with educative and experimental purpose, in the space of 3X2 meters... |
