| ABSTRACT The hydraulic remote control system allows the transfer of energy from the engine through a flow of hydraulic oil to engines and implements pulled by agricultural tractors, which can interfere with its energy and operational performance. | O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar, por meio de simulação econômica, a viabilidade de aquisição de um silo-secador, para pequenas propriedades rurais, tendo como referências as opções de terceirizar o processo de secagem/armazenagem ou a comercialização do milho úmido. Em virtude da alta diversificação encontrada nas pequenas propriedades rurais, a simulação foi realizada considerando-se diferentes tamanhos de áreas exploradas com milho (10; 20; 30 e 40 ha), níveis de produtividade (3.900; 4.500 e 5.100 kg ha-1) e preços por saca de milho (R$ 13,03; R$ 19,69 e R$ 34,29), no Estado de São Paulo. | ABSTRACT Studies on the longitudinal distribution of seeds in the sowing row seek to improve crop homogeneity, thus generating high productivity. In this context, seed tubes must be analyzed for their angular curvature. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the influence of the seed tube curvature on the longitudinal distribution of corn and soybean seeds at different speeds. Two experiments were conducted completely randomized in a double factorial design. | O objetivo deste trabalho foi caracterizar o consumo de energia na implantação e condução da cultura do Crambe abyssinica Hochst, em sistema de plantio direto, na Fazenda Experimental Lageado, pertencente à Faculdade de Ciências Agronômicas - UNESP, localizada no município de Botucatu - SP. Avaliando a sustentabilidade do sistema, estimaram-se, a eficiência energética e a cultura do crambe. Para o levantamento dos componentes da estrutura de dispêndios, foram utilizados coeficientes energéticos preconizados em literaturas especializadas. | ABSTRACT The operational performance of the agricultural tractor can be increased by adjusting parameters such as tire inflation pressure, axle mass distribution and gauge opening, which is a very divergent factor in controlled-traffic production. The objective of the experiment was to measure the energy performance of a 93 kW agricultural tractor in intermediate grading operation in two slopes (flat and sloping) and three gauge configurations (closed, intermediate and open) in mobilized soil. | Realizou-se este trabalho com o objetivo de avaliar o desempenho dos mecanismos de corte de palha de uma semeadora-adubadora em diferentes coberturas vegetais e cargas verticais aplicadas. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi em blocos ao acaso e esquema fatorial 3 x 4, com 4 repetições. Os trabalhos foram realizados com três diferentes mecanismos de corte de palha (disco liso, disco corrugado e disco ondulado) utilizando-se quatro diferentes cargas verticais (750, 1500, 2250 e 3000 N) em cinco coberturas de palha (milho, sorgo, aveia preta, triticale e nabiça).
