Notulae ad Floram agaricinam neerlandicam — XXXII. Macrolepiota Naturalis
Kok, R.P.J. de; Vellinga, E.C..
Critical notes on the taxonomy and nomenclature of the Dutch Macrolepiota species with ring with double crown are given. Macrolepiota bohemica (Wichanský) Krieglst. & Pázmány is regarded as a synonym of M. rachodes (Vitt.) Sing. The new combination M. rachodes f. olivieri (Barla) de Kok is made. Macrolepiota mastoidea (Fr.: Fr.) Sing., M. gracilenta (Fr.) Mos. and M. rickenii (Velen.) Bellù & Lanzoni are synonymized. Macrolepiota permixta (Barla) Mos. is considered merely a variant of M. procera (Scop.: Fr.) Sing.; notes on the nomenclature of M. nympharum (Kalchbr.) Wasser are presented. Agaricus emplastrum Cooke & Mass. and A. tepidarius Weinm. are regarded as nomina dubia.

A revision of Beilschmiedia (Lauraceae) of Peninsular Malaysia Naturalis
Kok, R.P.J. de.
A revision of the Peninsular Malaysian species of Beilschmiedia (Lauraceae) is presented with a summary of the taxonomic history of the group, key, full descriptions, distribution maps, conservation assessments, ecological information, ethno-botanical notes and a discussion of morphology. In this treatment, 18 species are recognised; six names are lectotypified (B. insignis, B. kunstleri, B. maingayi, B. membranacea, B. roxburghiana and B. scortechinii) and five are placed into synonymy for the first time; one name is validly published for the first time (B. atra) and one species is recognised and described here as new to science (B. kochummenii). Most species are considered to be common (Least Concern), but B. atra must be considered to be extinct, two...

A note on the status of the enigmatic monotypic genus Adelosa (Labiatae) Naturalis
Kok, R.P.J. de.
The type specimen of Adelosa microphilla Blume has been examined and the results compared with the morphology of several other genera within the Labiatae. On the basis of this comparison it was concluded that Adelosa microphilla is most likely to be synonymous with a species of Clerodendrum L.

Large-scale patterns of plant diversity and conservation priorities in South East Asia Naturalis
Marsh, S.T.; Brummitt, N.A.; Kok, R.P.J. de; Utteridge, T.M.A..
In the absence of a complete floristic inventory, conservation priorities within South East Asia must often be based on incomplete knowledge or a rough approximation of diversity such as habitat cover. To help overcome this, a database containing distribution data for all 3 523 known flowering plant genera across 53 geo-political regions covering all of Indo-China, Malesia and the Pacific has been compiled from regional floras and herbarium specimens at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Our database is currently 85 % complete and has been used in this preliminary analysis to show the broad patterns of plant diversity and floristic relationships in the South East Asian region. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the floristic richness, at genus level...
