Fungicides are important tool for managing diseases in many crops. For example, managing Brown spot of rice relies on the application of fungicides. The heavy use of fungicides has triggered to the development of isolates of Bipolaris oryzae (Helminthosporium oryzae) resistant to fungicides. This survey, the farmers randomly were interviewed about fungicide application, showed that most of farmers (76%) used triazole fungicide. 18, 16, 8 and 8 % used dithiocarbamat, triazolobenzo strobirulin and benzimidazole repectively. In vitro fungicide sensitivity assays using poison media technique expressed propiconazole and haxaconazole at concentration 10 ppm inhibit completely mycelium growth. This study was undertaked for evaluating the prevalence of fungicide... |
