Located in western Paraná, the city of Palotina had begun it colonization in the late 50's and the city has undergone many changes where land with dense forest was almost totally occupied by crops. The increased population of approximately 4,000 people in 1960 to 30,000 in 2010 and currently has much of the economy based on agriculture and agribusiness. With the availability of climate data since 1972 the aim of this work was to identify changes and trends in the series of daily data of precipitation, air relative humidity, maximum, minimum and mean temperature, thermal amplitude and insulation in the city from 1973 to 2010.
