Bacterial leaf blight disease (BB) caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae. (ex Ishiyama). In 2007 was a severe outbreak in Phitsanulok 2 and ChaiNat 1 variety in the central region and lower north region of Thailand. The farmers’yield has been damaged. Integrated disease management (IDM) by applied the tillage combined with bactericide to reduce the disease severity in paddy field, that cultivated non-resistant variety to BB.
