| Abstract: The objective of this work was to develop and provide a free web application able to generate thematic maps. The initiative aims to incorporate the functionalities of the “Software para Definição de Unidades de Manejo” (SDUM) desktop application, which has proven to be suitable for working with thematic maps and management zones, but that was only available for desktop computers. The developed web application was tested with real data from two agricultural fields located in the state of Paraná, Brazil. Thematic maps of soil and plant characteristics relevant to precision agriculture were created through the following interpolation methods: inverse distance, moving average, and nearest neighbor. | No estudo do mapeamento da fertilidade do solo, pelas técnicas de geoestatística, algumas características estruturais da variabilidade espacial devem ser consideradas, tais como continuidade espacial e ausência de anisotropia. Neste contexto, o presente trabalho apresenta uma análise da anisotropia no estudo da variabilidade espacial das variáveis químicas do solo: ferro (Fe), acidez potencial (H + Al), matéria orgânica (MO) e Mn, de um conjunto de dados de 128 parcelas sem manejo químico localizado, espacialmente referenciados, estudados entre 1998 e 2002, em um Latossolo Vermelho distroférrico, em Cascavel-PR. | ABSTRACT The 2,4-D herbicide is widely used in Brazilian and global agriculture to control weeds. It is potentially toxic to mankind, and one of the herbicides final destinations is the soil. The aim of the study was to determine the spatial correlation of 2,4-D herbicide in soil attributes after 12 months of application. The experiment was conducted in an agricultural area of 5.04 ha in the municipality of Nova Santa Rosa/PR, in 2011 and 2012. Two soil samples collections were performed: collection 1 (09/03/2011) and collection 2 (08/25/2012), both of which were made 12 months after 2,4-D application.
