การใช้แผ่นเทียบสีใบข้าวจัดการปุ๋ยไนโตรเจนในข้าวสุพรรณบุรี 1 ปลูกแบบหว่านน้ำตม Thai Agricultural

Two methods of nitrogen management of broadcast wet-seeded rice in SPR1 with Leaf Color Chart (LCC) had been demonstrated compared with farmer fertilizer's practice in 6 farmer fields in Suphan Buri province during dry and wet season, 2003. The results showed that LCC produced yield of 605 and 616 kg/rai whereas farmers’ practice produced only 594 kg/rai and also consumed 28-48% less N fertilizer and gained more yield per nitrogen unit than those of farmers’ practice. Moreover, LCC took only 3.80 baht/kg of total fertilizer input cost and gained 602-614 baht of net benefit whereas the farmers’ practice needed 4.20 baht/kg and gave only 363.50 baht net benefit. Thus, nitrogen management with LCC reduces a lot of input cost and imported urea fertilizer.

การตอบสนองต่อปุ๋ยไนโตรเจนของข้าวนาชลประทานสายพันธุ์ดีในเขตภาคตะวันตก Thai Agricultural

Response of nitrogen rates was investigated in Ratchaburi Rice Research Center during dry and wet season 2013 with 10 irrigated promissing rice lines/variety with different nitrogen rates of check 0 6 12 18 24 and 30 kg(N)/rai. The result showed rice yield in dry season 2013 at 6 18 24 and 30 kg(N)rai equal to 505.0 533.6 528.9 and 579.7 kg/rai with nonsignificant but in wet season 2013 there was different yield at 0 6 12 and 18 N-rates with 24 N-rate that gave highly yield of 622.4 kg/rai. In dry season 2013 PTT 00018-10-1-2-1 gave highly yield of 553 kg/rai but non different from RD31 check variety that gave yield of 519.29 kg/rai. Aim of this study was to develop an appropriate recommendation for nitrogen management in irrigated areas of the central plain by using Leaf Color Chart (LCC). Eleven photoperiod-insensitive and 3phot operiod-sensitive rice varieties were studied for nitrogen management using LCC. The studies were conducted at Pathum Thani Rice Research Center both in wet and dry seasons during 2006-2007. Factorial in RCB with 4 replications were used which consisted of 2 factors, rice varieties and nitrogen managements. Four methods of nitrogen managements ; recommendation, application of nitrogen at LCC≤2, LCC≤3 and LCC≤4 were used in the experiments. Nitrogen use efficiency was evaluated in 27 genotypes of waxy corn to utilize as germplasm in breeding program for sustainable agriculture. Yield, yield components and agronomic traits analyzed similarity coefficient by Squared Euclidean and cluster analysis by Ward’s method could separate genotypes into 4 groups depending on ear size, plant height and flowering date. The large ear group gave yield higher than that of the small ear group and showed high value of low nitrogen tolerant index (LNTI) and nitrogen use efficiency (NUE).
