เพลี้ยกระโดด Tagosodes pusanus (distant): แมลงศัตรูข้าวชนิดใหม่ในภาคเหนือตอนบนของประเทศไทย Thai Agricultural

Tagosodes pusanus (Distant) is one of the planthopper species, which has been reported as a minor insect pest in Thailand in 2000. The morphology of T. pusanus closely resembles the whitebacked planthopper, Sogatella furcifera (Horvath). However, it could be distinguished by the pattern of the dark markers of its forewings, pale yellow pronotum in the middle of the segment, color of the clypeus, and shapes and number of spines of aedeagus. The population dynamic of T. pusanus was studied by sampling in the rice fields using D-vac and Blower-vac sucking machines. The results showed that the number of T. pusanus was higher than S. furcifera at heading stages of the rice plants in Nakhon Nayok province in 2011. The relationship between the numbers of two...

ความหลากหลายของสัตว์ไม่มีกระดูกสันหลังในระบบนิเวศข้าวไร่ ที่อำภอบ้านแฮด จังหวัดขอนแก่น Thai Agricultural

The research studies an arthropod community in upland rice ecosystem at farmers’ field in Ban Had District, Khon Kaen Province, Northeast Thailand, was conducted during May to October 2011. Samples were collected using light traps, yellow sticky traps, sweep nets and visual observation methods. A total of 7,195 individual arthropods from 160 species were recorded in this study. Among the sampling methods, 140 species were recorded using light trap, followed by 108, 58 and 30 species collected by using yellow sticky trap, sweep net and visual observation, respectively.
