| The goal of this study was to evaluate the effect of a high-carbohydrate diet (HC) and a high-protein diet (HP) on the metabolism of the crayfish Parastacus brasiliensis (Von Martens, 1869), collected in different seasons and maintained in the laboratory for 15 days. Crayfish were collected monthly from January 2002 to January 2004 at São Francisco de Paula, Southern Brazil, in Guarapirá stream. In the laboratory, the animals were kept submerged in aquariums under controlled conditions. They were fed ad libitum, for 15 days with either a HC or HP diet. | Le potentiel de grossissement de la palourde Ruditapes decussatus (L. 1758), élevée dans des poches de filet de 1 m2 de surface, a été évalué sur l’estran de Zarat (golfe de Gabès) pour la période de juillet 2006 à novembre 2007. Dans une première expérience, trois niveaux de la marée, représentant des chenaux de drainage de l’eau, existants entre la ligne de marée haute et celle de marée basse, ont été comparés sur une durée de 16 mois. | La tasa de crecimiento y el incremento neto de crecimiento de Anadara tuberculosa fue estudiada por medio de muestreos mensuales en sistemas de cultivo entre el 2002 y 2003 en la Comunidad El Bajito en la REMACAM. Ocho cajas suspendidas fueron utilizadas, cuatro con conchas entre los 30 y 34.9 mm y cuatro con conchas entre los 35 y 39.9 mm. No se encontraron diferencias significativas entre cada uno de los sistemas de acuerdo a cada uno de los rangos de tallas utilizados, lo que permitió establecer incrementos netos entre los 10.17 a 11.99 mm y de 8.55 a 10.68 mm, respectivamente. | An experimental culture trial of wild juveniles of jewfish Epinephelus itajara was conducted in two different places in the north coast of Colombia in order to evaluate the growth rate of the species and its tolerance to captivity conditions. Two different groups of fish were evaluated in each place, one fed on an artificial diet and the other on trash fish. All fish were held in floating cages for periods ranging from 63 to 89 days. Results showed excellent individual daily weight increase (6,83 and 12,4 g/day) and specific growth rate (1,4 y 0,96 %/day) for fish fed on trash fish in both places but conversion ratio was too high and inadequate (9,01 and 9,97). | Afin d’évaluer le potentiel de régénération de Gracilaria verrucosa du lac de Bizerte, une culture expérimentale, in situ sur cordes tendues sur le substrat, a été mise en place à partir de boutures de 200 g. Au terme de quatre mois de culture, de février à mai 2003, les cordes ont été soumises à une, deux, trois ou quatre coupes. L’analyse statistique montre que la meilleure situation est représentée par les touffes qui n’ont subi qu’une seule coupe à la fin du mois de mai; dans ce cas, ces touffes ont un poids final de 1771,4 g et un taux de croissance spécifique de 1,8. |
