| Se estableció en San Pedro Yodoyuxi, Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca, una parcela experimental para evaluar dos regímenes de riego (con y sin) y cuatro dosis de nitrógeno (0, 5, 10, y 15 g de N m-2) en el crecimiento de A. potatorum de 2, 3, 4 y 5 años durante un periodo de 12 meses y otro de siete. La combinación de factores estudiados generó 32 unidades experimentales del factorial completo 2 x 4 x 4. Se empleó diseño experimental bloques completos con tratamientos aleatorizados. En el primer periodo se tuvieron cuatro bloques, en el segundo seis. | La actividad pecuaria es de gran importancia socioeconómica para el país; la ganadería, en específico la producción de carne, es la actividad más diseminada en el sector rural. Se estima que la superficie aprovechada por la ganadería es superior a 110 millones de hectáreas, aproximadamente 60% del terrritorio nacional (SAGARPA, 2000). En el presente trabajo se estiman los efectos que se tiene sobre las cantidades ofrecidas de carne de res a nivel de granja ante un incremento en el precio del maíz, sorgo y pan. Los incrementos utilizados sobre los precios de los granos fueron del 5%, 10% y 15%, estos son ingredientes básicos en la dieta de bovinos. | Five of the most recent observational methods to estimate anthropogenic CO2 (C-ant) are applied to a high-quality dataset from five representative sections of the Atlantic Ocean extending from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Between latitudes 60 degrees N-40 degrees S all methods give similar spatial distributions and magnitude of C-ant. However, discrepancies are found in some regions, in particular in the Southern Ocean and Nordic Seas. The differences in the Southern Ocean have a significant impact on the anthropogenic carbon inventories. The calculated total inventories of C-ant for the Atlantic referred to 1994 vary from 48 to 67 Pg (10(15) g) of carbon, with an average of 54 +/- 8 Pg C, which is higher than previous estimates.
