En la Mixteca Poblana, predominan suelos calcáreos que por su pH alcalino impiden que las plantas puedan absorber los nutrimentos como hierro y zinc, ocasionando la clorosis férrica, afectando los cultivos de esta región, tales como: caña de azúcar, sorgo, maíz, frijol e incluso los árboles frutales, repercutiendo en el desarrollo, rendimiento y en casos severos la muerte de la planta. En esta región está ubicado el ingenio azucarero de Atencingo que genera anualmente 45 mil toneladas de desechos orgánicos (cachaza). Nitrogen fertilization by deep bedding swine production and its effects on dry matter production and accumulation of nutrients by maize REA

The goal of this study was to evaluate the nitrogen fertilization as deep litter for pigs in order to produce biomass and accumulate nutrients by the corn. A deep litter made of rice husk as organic compound, from a commercial pig farm during finishing phase, was used. After three consecutive batches of pigs, the deep litter was subjected to a maturation period of 50 days, and samples of this material were taken for analysis of agronomic value. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of the nitrogen fertilization in the form of swine deep bed in the properties of a quartz-sand neosol. The organic compound used was the deep bed made with rice hulls, from a commercial swine finishing system farm. Deep bed samples have been collected at various points in the installation in order to obtain a representative composite sample which has been fractionated in a 2.0 mm sieve and submitted to a 50-day maturation period. Effect of soil pH on the growth and taste of tomato, and efficacy of organic fertilizer in improvement of the tomato growth OAK

土壌pH と有機物施用が土壌有効態ミネラル濃度,トマトの生育,ミネラル濃度,食味に及ぼす影響について調べた。硫酸および水酸化カルシウムにより土壌pH を4~10 に調整し,化成肥料によりトマトを栽培した。また,これらのpH の土壌に堆肥とボカシ肥を合わせて施用し,トマトを栽培した。土壌の有効態ミネラル濃度は,酸性土壌においてはカリウム,カルシウム,マグネシウムは低下し,鉄,マンガンは高まった。また,アルカリ性土壌においてはマグネシウム,鉄,亜鉛,マンガンは低下した。トマトの地上部および地下部乾物重は,酸性およびアルカリ性土壌において大きく低下した。トマト体内のミネラル濃度は,酸性土壌ではカリウム,カルシウム,マグネシウムは低下し,マンガンは高まった。アルカリ性土壌では亜鉛,マンガンは低下した。トマトのミネラル吸収量は,酸性およびアルカリ性土壌においてこれら全てのミネラルが大きく低下した。果実の酸度および食味は酸性土壌では低く,pH の増加にともない高まった。有機物施用は,アルカリ性土壌において,トマトの乾物重とカリウム,カルシウム,マグネシウム,亜鉛吸収を改善した。しかし,土壌においてこれらのミネラルの有効態化は認められなかった。これより,有機物施用によるアルカリ性土壌でのトマトの生育改善は,土壌化学性への直接的な作用によるものではないと考えられる。

The objective of this work was to assess the effect of poultry litter fertilization levels on corn and black oat yield using different grazing intensities, poultry litter levels (mixture of manure and bedding material) and a chemical fertilization level. The experimental design was a randomized complete block in a split-plot arrangement with four replicates. Poultry litter is an important nutrient source in agriculture, although little information is available regarding its decomposition rate and nutrient release. To evaluate these processes, poultry litter (PL) was applied to the soil to supply 100, 200 and 300 kg ha-1 N contained in 4,953, 9,907 and 14,860 kg ha-1 PL, respectively. The litter bag technique was used to monitor the process of decomposition and nutrient release from the litter.
