Repeatability based on growth behavior ofjabuticabeira tree genotypes Rev. Bras. Frutic.
Radaelli,Juliana Cristina; Porto,Alexandre Hack; Wagner Júnior,Américo; Domingues,Lucas da Silva; Mazaro,Sergio Miguel; Citadin,Idemir.
Abstract The aim of this study was to estimate the coefficients of repeatability and determination and the minimum number of evaluations able to provide certainty levels of prediction of the real value of these individuals through stem length and the length of primary shoots in 29 jabuticabeira genotypes. The stem length and the primary shoots were evaluated between July 2012 and June 2015, representing three growth cycles. The determination of the repeatability coefficients, determination coefficients and the number of measurements required to predict the genotypes true value were performed by multivariate principal component methods based on the variance and phenotype covariance matrix. The repeatability and determination coefficients obtained are...

Germplasm characterization of three jabuticaba tree species Rev. Bras. Frutic.
Danner,Moeses Andrigo; Citadin,Idemir; Sasso,Simone Aparecida Zolet; Sachet,Marcos Robson; Mazaro,Sérgio Miguel.
The purpose of this study was to characterize cultivated genotypes of three jabuticaba species (Plinia cauliflora, P. trunciflora, and P. jaboticaba). Phenology and fruit growth, as well as leaf, flower and fruit traits were evaluated. Variability in all traits was observed among genotypes of the three jabuticaba species. The trait peduncle size is indicated for differentiation of the three species under study. The leaf and fruit sizes of the genotypes P. trunciflora 3, P. trunciflora 4, P. trunciflora 5 and P. jaboticaba 1 differ from those described in the literature for these species, indicating the formation of ecotypes. Jabuticaba fruit skin contains high anthocyanin and flavonoid concentrations, with potential use in food and pharmaceutical industries.

MOLECULAR CHARACTERIZATION OF JABOTICABA TREE GENOTYPES LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF RECÔNCAVO OF BAHIA Rev. Bras. Frutic.
CRUZ,ELAINE SILVA DA; DANTAS,ANA CRISTINA VELLO LOYOLA; CARMO,CÁTIA DIAS DO; BASTOS,LUCIMÁRIO PEREIRA.
ABSTRACT The jaboticaba tree (Plinia sp.) is a native fruit tree belonging to the Myrtaceae family, which occurs spontaneously throughout Brazil. The estimation of genetic divergence among genotypes of native populations can be useful for conservation and knowledge of available genetic resources, in the formation of gene banks and breeding species. In order to evaluate the genetic diversity of jaboticaba trees identified in the Bahia Reconcavo municipalities, 35 genotypes were characterized by ISSR primers (Inter Simple Sequence Repeats). The 18 primers generated a total of 463 amplicons, and the number of initiator fragments ranged from 14 to 36, with an average of 25.72% and 99.65% polymorphism. Polymorphic information content ranged from 0.13 to 0.33...
