Study on Al toxicity level and properties of highland soils in Khun Wang and Inthanon areas wasconducted in 31 pedons, aiming at assessing the relationship between level of Al toxicity and soil properties in order to provide equations suitable for predicting Al saturation of studied soils. Soil pits were used for this research, which included the investigation of general environments of the areas selected. Soil samples were collected with respect to soil genetic horizon and analysed using standard procedures. Soils in both areas were formed from gneiss, granite and diorite and well developed. ผลของการไถพรวนต่อสมบัติดินและผลผลิตข้าวโพดที่ปลูกบนดินชุดดินวาริน Thai Agricultural

Study on the effect of tillage on the change of soil properties, nitrogen leaching away from root zone, yield and plant nutrient uptake of maize grown on Warin soil series (Arenic Haplustult) was carried out in Ban Nonsomboon, Krissana sub-district, Sikhiu Nakhon district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The experimental design employing randomized complete block design consisted of four various tillage methods as follow; conventional tillage (using 3-disc followed by 7-disc plough), reduced tillage (using only 7-disc plough), mulch tillage (using 7-disc plough with plant residues left to cover soil surface) and no-tillage.
