| The Slovak Mining Museum in Banská Sˇtiavnica belongs to museums of Slovak field activity and includes several exhibition departments: Natural history – collection of minerals and fossils in Berggericht building with 37,500 pieces. | This paper reports a research project carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry New Zealand designed to scope the issue of water efficiency in New Zealand and demonstrate where the most significant gains in efficiency can occur. The paper describes the efficiency framework developed based on the key areas of allocative, technical and dynamic efficiency. The areas of significant gains based on the theoretical analysis are tested against three community irrigation schemes. Although the case study findings support the theoretical conclusions there is a significant range of potential areas of improvement according to the nature of each case study. |

| Technical investigation on the method and constraints on cashew nuts processing in Enugu state of Nigeria was carried out and a survey made involving the use of questionnaire and personal interview during the field trips. The aim was to technically investigate the difficulties encounter in cashew nuts processing in Enugu State and suggest the means of improving on the difficulties. The manual and mechanical methods of processing cashew nuts were investigated. From the result of the survey, it was found that majority of cashew nuts processors visited processed the nuts by manual means and only few were processing mechanically.
