A revision of the Genus Scincella (Reptilia: Sauria: Scincidae) of asia, with some notes on its evolution Naturalis

Of the genus Scincella Mittleman, 1950 (sensu Greer, 1974) 337 specimens from Asia were examined for 74 characters, which were treated in a numerical-taxonomic way. The dendrogram resulting from this analysis was not stringently adhered to. Because of the wide variation in certain numerical scale characters within one taxon or even within one population, these characters (used by many authors as key characters to separate taxa) are not regarded as very important. For sympatric and parapatric species other characters, including relative size of head, body and limbs, are regarded as very important, because these characters are influenced by the way of life (niche separation). A taxonomic revision of the European, Mediterranean and NW. African species generally placed in Sphaeroma Bosc, 1802 (Isopoda: Flabellifera: Sphaeromatidae) Naturalis

The European, Mediterranean and NW. African species usually assigned to the genus Sphaeroma are revised. The genus Sphaeroma as understood so far has been divided into two genera: Sphaeroma s.s. and Lekanesphaera Verhoeff, 1943. Keys to the three species of Sphaeroma and the thirteen species of Lekanesphaera are given. Two new species are described viz., L. glabella (from Madeira) and L. terceirae (from Terceira, Azores) and the synonymy of known species is provided.

Three new genera of Braconinae from the Afrotropical region (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) Naturalis

Three new genera and species from the Afrotropical region are described and fully illustrated. Bicentra (type-species: B. concavitarsis spec. nov. from Zimbabwe), Commatapsis (type-species: C. cyanea spec. nov. from Guinea) and Iphibracon (type-speies: I. flavovariegata spec. nov. from Malagasy). A new species of the genus Kenema (K. serrata from Senegal) is described and a key to the species of the genus Kenema Van Achterberg is added.

The European genera and species of Helconini (Braconidae: Helconinea) are keyed and partly illustrated. The genus Helconidea Viereck, 1914 is excluded from the genus Wroughtonia Cameron, 1899, Helconidea meridionalis spec. nov. is described, and the remaining Palaearctic species of Wroughtonia are keyed. The distribution of Reptiles and amphibians in the Annapurna-Dhaulagiri region (Nepal) Naturalis

The reptiles and amphibians of the Annapurna-Dhaulagiri region in Nepal are keyed and described. Their distribution is recorded, based on both personal observations and literature data. The ecology of the species is discussed. The zoogeography and the altitudinal distribution are analysed. All in all 32 species-group taxa of reptiles and 21 species-group taxa of amphibians are treated.

Revisionary notes on the subfamily Orgilinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) Naturalis

Keys are given to the genera and subgenera of the subfamily Orgilinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae). One new tribe, three new genera, three new subgenera, and 27 new species are described. New combinations are: Orgilonia ashmeadi (Viereck, 1911), Orgilus columbianus (Enderlein, 1912), O. westermanni (Enderlein, 1912), O. rubriceps (Ashmead, 1894), and Stantonia lutea (Szépligeti, 1910). A lectotype is designated for Stantonia conspurcata Enderlein, 1905.

Revision of the subfamily Blacinae Foerster (Hymenoptera, Braconidae) Naturalis

The cosmopolitan subfamily Blacinae Foerster (Braconidae) is revised with special reference to the Oriental and Australian species. Two new genera are described from Chile: Chalarope and Grypokeros. All known species are keyed, 53 new species are described and fully illustrated, seven new combinations, and five new synonyms are proposed. Lectotypes are designated for eight species. A cladistic analysis of the relationships between the (sub)genera of the subfamily is given and a cladogram is presented.

Revision of the Genera Bellonella, Eleutherobia, Nidalia and Nidaliopsis (Octocorallia: Alcyoniidae and Nidalliidae), with descriptions of two new Genera Naturalis

Nineteen species of Alcyoniidae formerly assigned to various genera are here placed in the genera Bellonella and Eleutherobia; three new species are described in Bellonella. Sixteen species characterized by an abundance of capstans among their sclerites, formerly assigned to Alcyonium, Bellonella and Nidalia are now transferred as valid species or synonyms to the genus Eleutherobia, in which two new species are described making a total of 14 valid species. Revision of the subtribe Monoctonina Mackauer sensu stricto (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Aphidiinae) Naturalis

A key to the genera of the subtribe Monoctonina Mackauer, 1961 s.s. and keys to the species of the genus Harkeria Cameron, 1900 and the European species of the genus Monoctonus Haliday, 1833 are given. Two new species of Monoctonus are described from The Netherlands. The subgenus Paramonoctonus Starý, 1959 is synonymized with the subgenus Harkeria Cameron. A generic diagnosis is given for each of the genera Harkeria, Monoctonus and Quadrictonus Starý & Remaudière, 1982.

Synopsis of lichomolgid copepods (Poecilostomatoida) associated with soft corals (Alcyonacea) in the tropical Indo-Pacific Naturalis

A synopsis of the 97 species of lichomolgid copepods known to be associated with tropical IndoPacific shallow-water alcyonaceans is given (Madagascar, New Caledonia, Moluccas, Philippines, and Enewetak Atoll). One new genus and 29 new species are included, distributed among the lichomolgid genera Acanthomolgus (2 new species), Alcyonomolgus (1), Colobomolgus (2), Critomolgus (3), Doridicola (5), Paradoridicola (7), Paramolgus (8), and Telestacicola (1). Revision of the subtribe Mesocoelina Viereck (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) Naturalis

The subtribe Mesocoelina Viereck is redefined, the three genera and their species are keyed, (re)described and illustrated. One new genus (Plesiocoelus gen. nov.; type-species: Plesiocoelus bassiformis spec. nov. from C. America) and four new species are described. Aneurobracon Brues, 1930 is removed from synonymy with Mesocoelus Schulz, 1911 and used as valid genus in this paper. Additionally the aberrant Bassus reductus spec. nov. from Panama is described.

Revision of the western Palaearctic Phanerotomini (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) Naturalis

Keys are given to the Western Palaearctic genera of the subfamily Cheloninae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), and to Western Palaearctic species of the genera Phanerotoma Wesmael and Phanerotomella Szépligeti of the tribe Phanerotomini. The genus Leptodrepana Shaw, 1983 is synonymized with the genus Ascogaster Wesmael, 1835. The genera Ichneutipterus Vachal, 1907; Tritoma Szépligeti, 1908; Szépligetia Schulz, 1911; Neoacampis Szépligeti, 1914, and Tritomios Strand, 1921 are new synonyms of the genus Phanerotoma Wesmael. Revision of the genera Foersteria Szépligeti and Polydegmon Foerster (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), with the description of a new genus Naturalis

Three closely related Palaearctic genera of the subtribe Brachistina, Foersteria Szépligeti, 1896, Polydegmon Foerster, 1862 and Chelostes gen. nov. (type-species: C. robustus spec. nov. from Turkey) are revised and illustrated. The Holarctic genera of the subtribe Brachistina are keyed and two new species are described from Turkey. The genus Aliolus Say, 1836 is synonymized with the genus Eubazus Nees, 1814.
