| Dans le cadre d'un suivi de la qualité des eaux du littoral nord, le RNO a mis en place une campagne hydrobiologique, "Hydrobios 80". Des prélèvements destinés à l'étude des paramètres hydrologiques et de la qualité microbiologique des eaux ont été réalisés dans le détroit du Pas-de-Calais. La zone étudiée pendant l'été 80, s'étend sur une frange d'environ 5 miles le long des côtes de la baie de Somme à la frontière belge. Elle assure ainsi la continuité avec la zone côtière belge surveillée régulièrement par MOMMAERTS et Coll. (fig. 1). | La qualité du sperme de bar (Dicentrarchus labrax L.) a été mesurée par (1) la durée et l'intensité de la motilité des spermatozoïdes après dilution, (2) la durée de survie du sperme conservé au réfrigérateur à 4°C. La motilité du sperme fraîchement collecté et dilué au 1/100ème se maintient à son niveau initial pendant 5 min en début de période de spermiation (le 17 décembre), 2 min en milieu et 30 s en fin de période de spermiation (les 13 janvier et 18 février) (Fig. 1). La durée de survie du sperme maintenu à 4°C diminue de la même façon au cours de la période de spermiation. | We report the development of 17 microsatellite markers in the cheese fungi Penicillium camemberti and P. roqueforti, using an enrichment protocol. Polymorphism and cross-amplification were explored using 23 isolates of P. camemberti, 26 isolates of P. roqueforti and 2 isolates of each of the A chtysogenum and P. nalgiovense species. used to produce meat fermented products. The markers appeared useful for differentiating species, both using their amplification sizes and the sequences of their flanking regions. | The present study reports the characterization of Ls-Stylicin1, a novel antimicrobial peptide from the penaeid shrimp, Litopenoeus stylirostris. The predicted mature peptide of 82 residues is negatively charged (theoretical pl=5.0) and characterized by a proline-rich N-terminal region and a C-terminal region containing 13 cysteine residues. The recombinant Ls-Stylicin1 has been isolated in both monomeric and dimeric forms. Both display strong antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum (1.25 mu M < MIC <2.5 mu M), a pathogenic fungus of shrimp, but lower antimicrobial activity against Gram () bacteria, Vibrio sp.
