| A agricultura orgânica é uma atividade que visa promover a preservação do meio ambiente, respeitando a biodiversidade e as atividades biológicas do solo. Desta forma, esta atividade enfatiza o uso de práticas de manejo em oposição ao uso de agrotóxicos, assim fixando de modo mais definitivo o homem no campo. Acredita-se que esta atividade seja uma forma de produção ecologicamente sustentável, socialmente justa e economicamente viável em todas as escalas da produção. No Ceará a agricultura orgânica tem uma área plantada de 13.820 ha, espalhados em vários municípios, sendo a maior concentração na microrregião da Ibiapaba. | Utilization of technology in agriculture makes it productive and promissing, contributing to its development. Investiments done by Govern of Ceará in agriculture have concentrate mainly on irrigated agriculture, through the agropoles, prevailing fruit-growing, banana being one of the chief crops. Banana crop performs an important role for cearense agriculture, however, it is generally characterized by low productivity, low technological level and large losses in production. | O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a influência do PRONAF - Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar sobre os indicadores agrícolas: produção, área plantada e produtividade das lavouras de subsistências beneficiadas pelo Programa no Estado do Ceará, no período de 1999 a 2005. A pesquisa aplicou análises tabular e gráfica para estudar o comportamento das variáveis. Os resultados registraram que as lavouras de subsistência mais beneficiadas pelo Programa foram: algodão, arroz, cana-de-açúcar, feijão, mandioca e milho. Uma comparação destas lavouras com outras não beneficiadas: banana, castanha de caju e mamona revelou que apesar do financiamento as lavouras beneficiadas pelo PRONAF obtiveram um desempenho inferior ao das não beneficiadas... |

| This paper analyses the technological adoption process in culture of cashew from Ceará. To reach this objective a survey was made from producers located in Ceará. As for measuring the technological level of producers were analyzed variables related to the practices of the system of culture of cashew. Moreover, we estimated the coefficients of the variables that influence the likelihood of technology adoption by regression function Cumulative Distribution Logistics Standard (Logit). It was observed that the farms occupied by the in nature cashew has the best technology level, using the recommended 46.7%, while those occupied with cashew for nuts and juice use only 36.4 and 30.1%, respectively. | The objective this paper is to analyze the relationships in the prices on the tomatoes wholesale market prices of Fortaleza (CE), Ibiapaba (CE), Recife (PE) e Salvador (BA). Time series methods were used: unit root test, Johansen co-integration test, VAR models, and variance decomposition of prediction error and impulse response function.
