Cette thèse étudie le problème de la gestion des pêches au sein d’une AMP, en tenant compte du système économique global ainsi que des transformations structurelles qui affectent celui ci, et en diversifiant les critères de gestion. Le cas d’étude est la RBDS (Sénégal). Une enquête de terrain montre que la population de cette localité diversifie ses activités essentiellement entre l’agriculture, la pêche et le tourisme. Une analyse économétrique indique que la démographie, la sécheresse et la baisse du prix de l’arachide sur le marché mondial sont les principales causes de la crise agricole dans la région. Simulation trials, inducing uncertainty about both the natural mortality rate and recruitment were also accomplished, to evaluate the risk of overfishing which is associated to different fishing alternatives, always under the assumption of a single and closed Long Tail Hake population. A single, closed fish population is assumed to inhabit the SW Atlantic. Based on catch data corresponding to years 1987-1997, a sequential analysis on the stock is carried out (Cohort Analysis). Under an adaptative framework, catch per unit of effort data from commercial vessels are used to fit the model. Two commercial fleets are used in the fitting, i.e. Polish vessels (1987-1994)and Argentine surimi factory vessels (1991-1997). Results indicate that both, total stock biomass and spawning stock biomass would have declined. The temperature that limits the presence of schools of Argentine chub mackerel Scomber japonicus was found to be around 19°C in the Mar del Plata area Buenos Aires prov., Argentina. At higher values, most shoals leave coastal waters in direction to the mid-shelf. An inverse relationship was observed between catches per unit of effort CPUE and sea surface temperature. The highest CPUE values corresponded to temperatures lower than 19°C. Beyond that value, the possibility of obtaining a CPUE higher than the unit is nearly null and the low standard deviation means it is unlikely to reach high CPUE values. Resource exploitation in the South Atlantic area shows a general retraction of the distribution range and an isolation of the La Plata River stock where most of the fishing effort concentrates. A partir de estadísticas de capturas comerciales y prospecciones pesqueras, se determinaron los parámetros básicos de su población: ciclo reproductivo, crecimiento, mortalidad, rendimiento y biomasa por recluta. In order to determine exploitation status of its stock, aspects related to its biology and population parameters have been assessed. Mean maturity size was estimated in 20.7 cm at total length; whereas sex ratio was 2.39 females per male. La pesquería del jurel Trachurus murphyi (Nichols,1920) concentra cerca del 90% de las capturas del Pacífico Sur Oriental de Chile, siendo la Zona Centro Sur la que presenta las mayores abundancias de este recurso. El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar cuál de los sistemas de regulación pesquera resulta más eficiente para esta pesquería desde un enfoque bioeconómico. Con base en datos reales de captura y esfuerzo de pesca, se simuló el comportamiento de la población de T. murphyi y la flota a través del tiempo bajo tres escenarios de regulación: acceso abierto, captura total permisible y cuotas individuales transferibles.
