This research evaluated the development of soybean plants grown in a greenhouse, from seeds that were treated with fungicide, film coated and inoculated with Bradyrhizobium. Seeds from the soybean cultivar ‘Vencedora’ were submitted to treatments disposed in a factorial 5 x 3 x 2 design. The seeds were treated with Derosal Plus® with polymer; Tegran® with polymer; Derosal Plus® without polymer, Tegran® without polymer; and without fungicide and without polymer. After the chemical treatment, the seeds were inoculated with peat or liquid inoculants, and without inoculant. The chemical treatments were used either previous to or after the six months of storage. Evolution of nutrient availability in maturation phase of composting using proportions of different residues inoculated with Beijerinckia indica Agronomy

Organic matter has low N content; however, organic matter may be enriched by inoculation with selected diazotrophic bacteria. The aim of the paper was to evaluate the effects of biofertilizer produced by mixing different types and proportions of organic matter inoculated with the diazotrophic bacteria Beijerinckia indica. Symbiosis of rhizobia with Gliricidia sepium and Clitoria fairchildiana in an Oxisol in the pre-Amazon region of Maranhão State Agronomy

 Gliricidia (Gliricidia sepium) and sombreiro (Clitoria fairchildiana) have been recommended for agroforestry systems and reforestation of degraded areas due to their fast growth and symbiosis with rhizobia. However, little is known about native populations that nodulate these species. The objective of this study was to evaluate the phenotypic and genetic diversity of nitrogen-fixing bacteria isolated from nodules of gliricidia and sombreiro in alley cropping systems located in the pre-Amazon region of Maranhão State and to confirm their nodulation ability.
