No ano agricola 1993/94, foram avaliados no Perimetro Irrigado do DNOCS, em Custodia-PE, 45 hibridos simples de milho doce, obtidos de um cruzamento dialelico completo entre 10 linhagens S4. O delineamento utilizado foi o de blocos ao acaso, com 3 repeticoes. Physical and mechanical properties are important issues to be studied due to its importance in the design of agricultural equipment and its relationship to the production operation. The average physical properties for weight, length, diameter, volume, porosity, repose angle, and angle of friction of sweet corn cobs and some of their components were measured.
