[[abstract]]為探求水稻品種（系）耐鹽測定方法，了解品種間之耐鹽性以及耐鹽育種應用上之可行方法，採用三種不同方法加以觀察、比較，以供抗鹽育種之參考。 1.土壤含鹽乾土重0.1%、0.2%、0.3%、0.4%、0.5%等5處理，濃度愈高，鹽害愈速而嚴重，以0.3%處理較恰當。 2.三種測定方法結果大致相同，以秧苗灌注鹽水法較為理想，且多數固體可同時進行。 3.不同生育期與耐鹽性之關係，植株愈大樹生增強，以4葉秧苗檢定成績較佳。 4.品種檢定結果以Hasawi之抗劉生最強。 Three methods were employed to test the resistance of rice varieties to salt in order to find a suitable way to screen the rice varieties or lines which were used in rice breeding progrom for salt resistant. 1. Five different treatments, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5% of salt compared to total dry weight of soil, were employed to investigate the resistance of rice to salt. The injury of salt to rice plant was increased, when higher degree of salt was added. It was found that 0.3% salt treatment could be used in the screening program. 2. The result indicated that irrigated rice seedlings with salt solution was best and most convenience and large number of rice plant could be test. The results of three methods, however, showed almost same. 3. The resistant of ability of rice plant to salt was increased, when crop grow older. The best stage to test their resistance was at 4-leaf stage of rice seedling. 4. The most resistant rice variety was Hasawi according to this investigation.
