CCC對水稻生長發育倒伏及產量之影響 Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute

[[abstract]]水稻是本省最重要的糧食作物,如何有效地提高其單位面積產量及防止減產損失,實在是一個非常重要的問題。一般來說,增加水稻單位面積產量的方法,不外乎是利用育種方法,育出高產、耐肥、抗倒伏、抗病蟲害等優良品種,推廣給農民種植;另方面,可由改良耕作方法,例如密植,多施化學肥料等方法著手。本省近年來乃積極提倡水稻之『重肥密植』栽培法,以期在有限之耕地面積上,更進一步來提高稻作之單位面積產量。 氮肥通常被認為是作物增產所不可或缺之要素,一般水稻多施肥,收成亦多,但是為了增產而過度增施肥料,尤其是氮肥,和過度密植,則水稻往往會生長軟弱,成熟延遲,易遭病蟲為害,以及導致稻株倒伏,非但不能增產,反而會遭受更形嚴重之減產。因此,重肥密植,加以本省之颱風豪雨,使水稻倒伏問題成了減產的主因。所以要想利用『重肥密植』栽培法來提高稻作之單位面積產量,先決條件必須是種植具有高度抗倒伏能力之優良品種。 增加水稻之抗倒伏能力,固然可以利用育種方法,育出短稈、強稈、耐肥之優良品種,以解決倒伏問題,但是利用人工合成之植物生長抑制劑(plant growth retardants)來控制植物之生長,發育,使植株能抗倒伏或減少倒伏之損失,似亦不失為增產上可行方法之一。 近年來,歐美國家曾利用CCC(2-chloroethyltrimethylammonium chloride)來處理大麥、小麥、燕麥、黑麥等禾穀類作物,皆證實了它確能使此等作物免於倒伏,且能增加產量。但利用CCC處理水稻的研究則尚不多覯,因此本試驗之目的,在探討不同的CCC噴施時期,不同用量,與在不同的氮肥用量之下,CCC對水稻生長、發育、倒伏及產量的影響,期明瞭CCC在本省稻作增產上之實用價值。 This research was designed to...

Root Growth Chracteristics of Peanut Genotypes Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute

[[abstract]]To evaluate the potential of peanut root growth characteristics such as taproot growth rate at different periods of growth, taproot length, root number, root length density at different depths, and the relationship between taproot length and shoot dry weight were examined under greenhouse conditions during 1983 and 1984. Separate studies on root volume, root and shoot dry weights, root/shoot ratio, and their interrelationship were also conducted. Data obtained showed that peanut genotypes differed in taproot growth rate, root number, and length density in the first 30 cm of soil profile. 品種及栽培季節對落花生種子蛋白質及油分含量之影響 Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute

[[abstract]]四種植物型不同之落花生250品種,分別於62年春、秋作及63年春作在臺中萬豐試驗地種植,收穫成熟完全之種子,分別以Semi-micro-kjedahl's法測定其樣品中全氮含量百分率,再以5.46乘之,以估算樣品中蛋白質含量;及以NMR法,利用Newport Quantity Analyzer測定全粒種子油分含量。經此測定後,以簡單相關係數法計算種子蛋白質與油分含量間之相關係數及直線迥歸方程式,以研究落花生型間、品種間種子蛋白質及油分含量之差異,以及栽培季節或年份對此二者含量之影響,並二者含量間之相關關係,供落花生種子品質改良,工作之參考。其試驗結果如下: 1. 落花生型與型間,其蛋白質含量平均以Virginia Runner型最高,Spanish、Valencia型次之,Virginia Bunch型最低;油分含量則以Virginia Bunch型稍高,但差異不大。 2. 落花生品種間,種子蛋白質與油分含量有極大之差異在,故可利用育種方法,改良本省落花生之品質。 3.栽培季節或年份對落花生植物型間種子蛋白質及油分含量影響不大,視品種不同而異。 4.落花生種子蛋白質與油分含量間呈極顯著之負相關關係,故今後提高種子蛋白質及油分含量之育種工作宜分開進行。 Peanut is an important food and oil crop in Taiwan. 落花生臺農5號之育成 Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute

[[abstract]]落花生臺農5號係以母本Spanish White與父本CJ-444(由Chiba Bunch × Java 2而來),於民國62年春作進行雜交,利用混合法(bulk method),在F4行單株選拔,並歷經株行、二行、中級及高級品系產量比較試驗所選出之優良品系(代號73-F-1 50),經69年春作至70年秋作共二年,分別於全省落花生主產區進行區域試驗之結果,顯示此品系(代號為農育4號)產量高且穩定,種子具短期之休眠性,乃獲審查通過命名為落花生臺農5號,正式於民國71年11月起推廣,供農民種植。本品種屬小粒型(Spanish type),植株直立,約有4~5分枝。葉片形大、呈淡綠色,小葉為倒卵形。莢果為中筒形、果腰淺具網紋且殼薄,莢果大小約為2.93 × 1.21cm,百莢重達126g,多為二粒莢。籽粒為橢圓形,種皮淡紅色,千粒重達499g。種子油分含量為49.7%,粗蛋白質含量為26.1%,且具有3週之種子休眠性,剝實車達71.8~72.9%。在全省區域試殮中,莢果產量春作平均為3,359 kg / ha ;秋作為2,246 kg / ha,較對照品種增收6.1~6.8%及3.4~9.3%。籽粒產量在春作及秋作也分別較對照種增產5.4~9.1%及2.2~10.5%。此外,種子地中萌芽率也較對照種減少約26.6~28.7%。可減少雨害之地中萌芽減產損失及防止黃麴毒素之污染。 Tainung 5 peanut was developed from the F4 bulk population of Spanish White × CJ-444 (Chiba Bunch × Java 2) cross combination made in 1973.
