[[abstract]](一) 每年五月中控制林間地樹蔭,保持樹影60%程度,如過蔭之樹枝打下,並將阻害天竺草生育之矮小雜木抽去,此等可供薪木之用。 (二) 林間栽培天竺草能防阻豪雨仲刷而有水土保持的功效。 (三) 在林間區內毋庸中耕、除雜草、施肥,能達到粗放栽培生產量。(據本分所粗放栽培是每年施用堆肥5,000kg/ha,中耕一次之平均生產量45,000kg/ha)。 (四) 林間區生產品質軟嫩可作乾草,牲畜嗜口性頗強。 (五) 牧野改良上林間地栽植天竺草,在試驗期間中株高、節數、青草收量等均增加,對照區則反是。 1. The shade of trees did not occupy more than 60% of the space of ground. Branches of trees were to be cut and removed away if the shade was too dark. 2. The plantation of guinea grass in the forest benefited the water and soil conservation. 3. The plantation of grass in the forest saved more labor and compost. 4. The grass harvested in the forest lot was tenderer and had a better palatability. 5. The production of the guinea grass planted in the forest was more than that of the control lot.

[[abstract]]1. 卵重與雛生重相關甚為明顯r=0.8940±0.059。然卵重與體重佔卵重之百分率相關則不顯著r=0.059±0.059。 2. 雛生重佔卵重之平均百分率為72.804±0.706 3. 雌,雄雛之平均生重並無顯著差異;同時兩者生重佔卵重之百分率差異亦不明顯而表示雌雄生重佔卵重%,不因性別不同而有顯著差異也。

It is necessary to make a survey in detail, and improve the processing with scientific method. Such a work is worthy to do not only for practical purpose but also for literature purpose. [[abstract]]1. 尿素飼乳牛110日的結果,泌乳量仍能惟待原狀,且校對照區為優,兩區的體重亦有增加。如有適量的炭水化合物飼料補充,尿素可以代替大豆餅為乳牛的蛋白質飼料。 2. 尿素的適口性不佳,故尿素區濃厚飼料的採食量較少,但繼續餵至60~70日時,牛即習慣其味,加入少量糖蜜,有助於適口性的改善。 3. 乳牛尿素區的濃厚飼料較對照區節省32.8%,在本試驗中,尿素區的尿素3%及甘藷簽25%,可以代替對照區的大豆餅10%及麩皮18%,以價格言,前者僅佔後者的42.8%,即前者較為經濟2倍多。 4.尿素青儲草可使乳牛的泌乳量增加。 1. The test was carried out for 110 days. The concentrates for the urea lot contained 3% of urea. 2. In this test, 3% urea and 25% dried sweet potato chops substituted 10% soybean cake and 18% wheat bran. The cost of the former was only 42.8% of the latter. 3. 引進北平鴨飼養試驗 Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute

[[abstract]]本試驗結果顯示,本省引進北平鴨飼養,其對本省環境適應力甚強。凡肉用品種,生長迅速,體形亦較大。因之其生長上及維持體重上之營養需要飼量較多,為理所當然。在供應肉用之經濟立場,當飼料利用效率較高時期,以飼養8~11星期即供應市場為有利。但為種用者則自當別論。若留為種用,應用其產卵期9個月,開始體產時期即予淘汰,以減低飼養成本,亦應加考慮,茲將該試驗結果摘要如下: 1. 原種蛋300枚之平均蛋重M=86.566±0.387公分,而其在本省第一產卵年卵重平均則為M=84.65±10.736公分。 2. 原種蛋300枚之受精率為90.3%,子代種蛋300枚之受精率為91%兩者相近似而無養異。 3. 孵出數對受精卵之孵化率原種蛋為63.47%,子代種蛋為61.5%,兩者亦無顯著差異。 4. 孵出初生雛之平均體重,原種蛋孵出者M=50.911±0.444公分,第一代種蛋孵出者為M=53.036±0.515公分,體重亦無退化現象,反而較原種者平均為重。 5. 孵出至3個月內之育成率為84.302%,迄開始產卵時之育成率為83.697%。 6. 飼料利用效率以飼養至八週為最經濟,其平均為3.881供應市場較為有利,九星期以後則飼養成本增加12星期後則更不經濟。 7. 開始產卵時之年齡最少為197天,最多為301天,平均為199.866±1.92天。 8. 開始產卵時之體重,最低為2140公分,最高為3360公分,平均為2577±28.386公分。 9. 第一產卵年產卯量,最高紀錄260枚,最低紀錄63枚平均為170.130±5.272枚。 10. 從初生雛鴨至平均產卵年齡,每隻鴨平均消耗混合飼料38.262公斤,產卵後每隻每日平均日糧為236.034公分。 11....

[[abstract]](1) 樹豆代替大豆餅作為養豬蛋白質補充飼料,凡自離乳後平均每頭體重14.76kg之試驗豬只要增重至90kg所需天數為:樹豆代替大豆餅1/3組僅需150天,大豆餅組155天,即生後7個月即可達到90kg;樹豆代替大豆餅2/3及1/2組先後於170天到達,全樹豆組於試驗結束時(180天)達88.04kg。 (2) 增產百公斤所需飼料量:以樹豆代替大豆餅1/3組為最節省,需要405.10kg (99.6%);大豆餅組次之,需要406.77kg (100%);樹豆代替大豆餅2/3組居中,需要416.87kg (102.5%);樹豆組第四,需要423.30kg (104.3%);樹豆代替大豆餅1/2組,需要439.87kg (108.1%)最差。 (3) 增重百公斤所需飼料費:大豆餅組最經濟,需要746.67元 (100%);樹豆代替大豆餅1/3組次之,需要815.41元(109.0%);樹豆代替大豆餅2/3組第三,需要938.58元 (125.7%);樹豆代替大豆餅1/2組第四,需耍959.01元 (128.4%);樹豆組最不經濟,需耍1066.45元 (142.8%)。 (4) 供試期各組平均每天每頭增重:樹豆代替大豆餅1/3組最速,增重0.490kg (104.4%);大豆餅組次之,增重0.469kg (100%);樹豆代替大豆餅2/3組第三,增重0.442kg (94.2%);樹豆代替大豆餅1/2組第四,增重0.419kg (89.1%) 樹豆組最慢,增重0.407kg (80.5%)。 (5) 試驗期總增重顯著性測驗結果:樹豆組與樹豆代替大豆餅1/2組增重確較樹豆代替大豆餅1/3組及大豆餅組為低,差異甚顯著(P<0.1);但與樹豆代替大豆餅2/3組差異性,並不顯著。 (6)...

[[abstract]]田菁子實所含粗蛋白質為25.16%且經稀鹽酸處理後供試豬就食情形良好,由本試驗結果可暫得以下結論: 1. 田菁代替大豆餅1/3組(即田菁1/3大豆餅2/3)在全試驗期180天內,增重成績飼料利用性,以及增重之經濟價值確較大豆餅馳組而未加田菁老為優。 2. 田菁代替大豆餅超出1/3量者,(即田菁大豆餅各半,田菁2/3大豆餅1/3)增重成績飼料利用性以及增重之經濟價值亦較單獨大豆餅1/3,1/2組良好(除田菁大豆餅各半組供試豬菜病影響增重外)惟其飼養期應自第二期體重35公斤開始為佳。 3. 田菁代替大豆餅用以飼養肉用豬,當以替代大豆餅量1/3為適宜。 The nutrient content and chemical treatment of sesbania seed for its being used as feeds have been studied by Chen, but the value in using the treated seeds for feeding livestock have not yet been ascertained. [[abstract]]田菁籽實經化學方法處理,作為替代大豆餅飼養肥育豬之蛋白質補充飼料,其所替代大豆餅不論在量之相等,或其所含粗蛋白質之相同,經試驗結果,對於供試豬之生長,以及飼料之利用性,皆以田菁代替大豆餅1/3者成績為優。田菁量之代替大豆餅1/2,對豬之生長及飼料之利用,雖不及田菁質之代替大豆餅1/3為優良,但本試驗各期飼料所含粗蛋白質平均較前多編式驗高2%,此或即因所含適量之養分助長供試豬之生長與飼料之利用也。綜觀田菁代替大豆餅,供為豬之肥育蛋白質補充飼料,勿論量之平衡或質之均等,仍以不超出1/3為適量。換言之,田菁籽實經稀鹽酸處理後,可用作育肥豬之蛋白質補充飼料,但與其他配合量在總飼料量內不超出10%,始得表現其良好之利用效果也。 The chemical treatment of sesbania seed for feeding pig has been described by Cheng.
