Lazzarotto, Joelsio Jose; Lima, Juvencio Braga de; Carvalho, Flaviana Andrade de Padua.
The process of organizational change constitutes a highly complex theme due to the a host of both internal and external organizational factors that may cause changes to be either facilitated or restricted. Such process, which may come as the result of a previuos planning or otherwise will also feature a varied amplitude which enables it to result in either incremented changes, when comprising but a few organizational features or strategical, if a large number of such components get reached by the process. Razafimandimby, Haja.
Organisational changes and valuation of fresh fish products in France This article aims to show the contributions of organizational innovations on the valuation of fresh fish products in France. Interviews led with sector key players allowed at first to draw up a brief typology of the organizational innovations in the fresh fishing supply chain. The result shows that the organizational changes that intervened in the fishing supply chain forced the actors to adopt new ways of working, which in turn, allowed to meet the consumer expectations in quality and in freshness, thanks to the implementation of just-in-time, in traceability due to the management of the supply chain, and in terms of availability by the system of dual sourcing. (JEL: O33, Q22).

Benson, Melinda Harm; University of New Mexico; mhbenson@unm.edu; Stone, Asako B.; Central New Mexico Community College; astone10@cnm.edu.
Adaptive management is a growing trend within environment and natural resource management efforts in the United States. While many proponents of adaptive management emphasize the need for collaborative, iterative governance processes to facilitate adaptive management, legal scholars note that current legal requirements and processes in the United States often make it difficult to provide the necessary institutional support and flexibility for successful adaptive management implementation. Our research explores this potential disconnect between adaptive management theory and practice by interviewing practitioners in the field. We conducted a survey of individuals associated with the Collaborative Adaptive Management Network (CAMNet), a nongovernmental...

Social-Ecological Transformation for Ecosystem Management: the Development of Adaptive Co-management of a Wetland Landscape in Southern Sweden Ecology and Society
Olsson, Per; Center for Transdisciplinary Environmental Research; potto@system.ecology.su.se; Folke, Carl; ;; Hahn, Thomas; ;.
We analyze the emergence of an adaptive co-management system for wetland landscape governance in southern Sweden, a process where unconnected management by several actors in the landscape was mobilized, renewed, and reconfigured into ecosystem management within about a decade. Our analysis highlights the social mechanisms behind the transformation toward ecosystem management. The self-organizing process was triggered by perceived threats among members of various local stewardship associations and local government to the area’s cultural and ecological values. These threats challenged the development of ecosystem services in the area. We show how one individual, a key leader, played an instrumental role in directing change and transforming...
