| A simulation model was designed to correspond to a Senegalese artisanal fishery. Each fishing unit has a strategy, and at a given time chooses a tactic from a set available tactics, according to a decision rule taking into account expected "revenues". The multispecies resource is modelled with simple stock production models, assuming quantities of biomass are inaccessible, depending on the resource component, season and tactic. We compare the results of two simulations with the same number of fishing units, the same gears, and the same resource, but with different strategies. | Artisanal fisheries in the Amazon are probably as dispersed and variable as those in any hydrographic basin. Diversity is of a biological nature (presence and abundance of species), as well as of an economic and social nature (proximity of markets, cultural habits, etc). An initial study of biological aspects of Amazonian fisheries conclude that there was significant and widespread under exploitation of resources, although for some species, indications of possible over exploitation existed. A reevaluation of this first assessment given in this paper, shows that the total yield was probably underestimated previously. | Ce document étudie l'évolution de la pêcherie chalutière côtière au Sénégal à partir des statistiques détaillées disponibles depuis 1971. L'évolution de la flottille est marquée par une augmentation régulière du nombre de chalutiers; de même, la puissance motrice et le tonnage de jauge brute moyens des unités de pêche a connu un accroissement; la composition de la flottille en glaciers et en congélateurs a également enregistré des modifications profondes à partir de 1987. L'effort nominal, en termes de jours de pêche, atteint un niveau très élevé durant la période 1987-1990 avec un pic en 1989.
