- The AMBIO project conducted a comprehensive video-based baseline assessment of coral reef fish communities and associated habitats in the New Caledonian lagoons. The survey relies on remote unbaited underwater video observations, using the STAVIRO rotating technique. - The study pertains to the reefs of Astrolabe, Pétrie and Walpole Island, located within the Coral Sea Natural Park. The survey conducted in 2014 covers the entire area, and the sampling design was stratified according to reef type. 95 stations were validated. They were analyzed to characterize the habitat surrounding each station, and fish communities, based on a list of 565 fish species (cf. The Shellfish Laboratory of Normandy (LCN : Laboratoire Conchylicole de Normandie) observed unusual hydrologic anomalies associated with important oyster mortalities during the winter of 1999. These anomalies were described as sudden salinity variations during the lidal cycle, particularly on the rising tide. Starting in 1996 a multi-parameter probe was used to monitor salinity, temperature and depth every 10 to 20 minutes in the inter-tidal zone. Alter data processing and filtering, two criteria concerning low salinity were chosen : amplitude and duration. A beam trawl survey of the Bay of Vilaine was conducted from 1981 to 1997. Changes in the commercial fish community were analyzed by comparing the characteristics at the year and decadal scales. The community structure and nursery function of the Bay were steady during the period. However, specific richness, assiduity and distribution indices demonstrated a reduction in the second decade. The global abundance fell from 105.8 ind.ha-1 to 31.3 ind.ha-1. This trend was less marked for the external more marine stratum, which exhibited the lowest densities. Ce rapport rassemble les 119 cartes délimitant les 119 bassins hydrologiques littoraux de l'ensemble des côtes de France de Dunkerque à Menton et la Corse. Ce découpage de la côte en bassins hydrologiques est utilisé dans le cadre des réseaux de suivi phytoplanctonique et microbiologique en vue de la collecte et du traitement des données. L'utilisation de la cartographie IGN permet d'identifier les communes littorales concernées par les bassins hydrologiques littoraux ainsi délimités. |

Depuis son introduction en Bretagne, au début des années 70, peu d'études ont été consacrées à l'huître creuse Crassostrea gigas sur cette région, sauf lors de pollutions (Amoco Cadis) ou d'anomalies de croissance de la coquille. En l'absence de données récentes, des stations expérimentales "d'élevage" ont été mises en place sur 8 sites conchylicoles bretons. Un lot d'huîtres de "18 mois" est réparti en début d'année dans 96 poches, à raison de 6 poches par station et 2 stations par site. Des mesures de biométrie, de composition de la chair, d'lindex de qualité, de taux de survie, et de parasitisme sont réalisées après 7 mois d'élevage. Face à l’enjeu eutrophisation, le Réseau de Suivi Lagunaire (RSL) a été créé par la Région Languedoc-Roussillon, l’Agence de l’Eau Rhône-Méditerranée & Corse, l’Ifremer et le Cépralmar. Cet outil de suivi permet de diagnostiquer l’état des lagunes régionales vis-à-vis de l’eutrophisation et ainsi d’initier la mise en place d’actions et de mesures de gestion. Le suivi, commun à l'ensemble des lagunes de la région, permet de comparer annuellement l’état des lagunes. Nutrients levels of marine water along the North of France coastline are growing-up. They have a good chance to become a problem in the future. Since 1992, a network of three radial lines is sampled at regular interval to supervise on long term : 1. Parameters levels that show the environment quality (temperature, salinity, turbidity,total suspended matters, organic suspended matters, chlorophyll, phaeopigments, phytoplankton). 2. Nutrients concentrations ( ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, silicate) that enrich the environment , and may be responsable of its deterioration. • In order to assess the sustainability of fish resources in the Natural Marine Park of Mayotte (Western Indian Ocean), indicators and monitoring protocols must be determined. • This study relied on the underwater video technique STAVIRO for assessing fish communities and resources. A pilot survey was conducted in Nov. 2014 in the south-east quarter of the Mayotte lagoon, an area encompassing the marine reserves of Longogori, M’Bouzi and the Saziley Marine Park.
