| Resumo: |
Irrigated rice breeding project for Northeast Thailand was carried out to improve photoperiod insensitive glutinous rice variety for blast disease and gall midge resistant. The selected promising line; KKN04023-NKI-14-2-6-1, was finally obtained. The promising line was selected from the population of the cross between PTT97100-B-116-3-3 and KKN97031-NKI-B-B-122-1-1 which PTT97100-B-116-3-3 was used as female parent and KKN97031-NKI-B-B-122-1-1 as male parent. This line is photoperiod insensitive glutinous rice. Its harvesting time is about 131 days after sowing, plant height was 120 cm. The average yield of this line grown in Rice Research Center paddy fields was 614 kg/rai and on farmers field was 684 kg/rai. Rice hull color was brown, grain length of brown rice was 7.63 mm. with slender shape. It had low gelatinization temperature. Its cooked rice was sticky and soft, aromatic, very good milling quality with 54.9% head rice. KKN04023-NKI-14-2-6-1 was resistant to leaf blast and gall midge in most area tested. It has good cooking and eating qualities with aromatic scent. However, the disadvantage of this line was susceptible to neck blast and bacterial leaf blight.
โครงการวิจัยและพัฒนาพันธุ์ข้าวนาชลประทานภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ พัฒนาสายพันธุ์ข้าวเหนียวให้ต้านทานต่อโรคไหม้และแมลงบั่ว จนได้ข้าวเหนียวสายพันธุ์ดีเด่น KKN04023-NKI-14-2-6-1 ซึ่งคัดเลือกได้จากการผสมระหว่างข้าวเหนียวสองสายพันธุ์ ได้แก่ PTT97100-B-116-3-3 และ KKN97031-NKI-B-B-122-1-1 สายพันธุ์ KKN04023-NKI-14-2-6-1 เป็นข้าวเหนียวไม่ไวต่อช่วงแสง อายุเก็บเกี่ยว 131 วัน ความสูงเฉลี่ย 120 เซนติเมตร ให้ผลผลิตเฉลี่ยในสภาพแปลงทดลองของศูนย์วิจัยข้าว 614 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ ในสภาพแปลงนาเกษตรกร 684 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ เป็นข้าวเหนียวเปลือกสีน้ำตาล เมล็ดข้าวกล้องยาว 7.63 มิลลิเมตร รูปร่างเรียว คุณภาพการสีดีมาก ได้ข้าวเต็มเมล็ดและต้นข้าว ร้อยละ 54.9 อุณหภูมิแป้งสุกต่ำ ข้าวนึ่งสุกเหนียว นุ่ม มีกลิ่นหอมเล็กน้อย ลักษณะเด่นคือต้านทานต่อโรคใบไหม้และแมลงบั่ว คุณภาพการหุงต้มและรับประทานดี มีกลิ่นหอม ข้อควรระวังคืออ่อนแอต่อโรคไหม้คอรวงและขอบใบแห้ง
