In order to research on Leaf Area Index (LAI) in the recommended rice varieties with different rate of fertilizer application during 2014 at Khlong Luang Rice Research Center. An experiment as Split plot in RCB with 4 replications, main plot were 3 recommended rice varieties: RD49 RD31 and PTT1 and sub plot were fertilizer application rates : 0-0-0 12-6-6 and 30-6-6 N-P2O5-K2O kg per rai. Character measured was Leaf Area Index (LAI) in 3 recommended rice varieties at 30 50 70 90 days after planting. The result indicated that RD49 RD31 and PTT1 rice varieties Leaf Area Index maximum for 3 varieties was obtained at flowering stage (80 days after transplanting) and then it was reduced due to the wilting and falling of lower leaves. RD49 had the highest LAI and after that PTT1 and RD31 respectively. The result shown that rice variety and fertilizer rate have effect on Leaf Area Index (LAI).
การทดลองในครั้งนี้เพื่อวิจัยค่าดัชนีพื้นที่ใบข้าวในข้าวพันธุ์ดีที่มีการใส่ปุ๋ยที่แตกต่างกัน วางแผนการทดลองแบบ Split plot in RCB มี 4 ซ้ำ ปี 2557 ดำเนินงานที่ศูนย์วิจัยข้าวคลองหลวง ปัจจัยหลัก คือ พันธุ์ข้าว 3 พันธุ์ ได้แก่ กข49 กข31 และปทุมธานี 1 ปัจจัยรองคืออัตราปุ๋ยเคมี 3 อัตรา ได้แก่ 0-0-0 12-6-6 และ 30-6-6 กิโลกรัม N-P2O5-K2O ต่อไร่ ทำการบันทึกข้อมูลดัชนีพื้นที่ใบที่ระยะเวลา 30 50 70 80 และ 90 วันหลังหว่านข้าว ผลการทดลองพบว่าข้าวในทั้ง 3 พันธุ์จะมีค่าดัชนีพื้นที่ใบแตกต่างกันโดยค่าดัชนีพื้นที่ใบเพิ่มขึ้นตามอัตราปุ๋ย และจะเพิ่มสูงสุดที่ 80 วันหลังหว่านข้าว ซึ่งเป็นช่วงที่ข้าวอยู่ในระยะการสร้างช่อดอก ซึ่งเป็นระยะแตกกอสูงสุดหรือแตกกอเต็มที่ หลังจาก 80 วันไปแล้วค่าดัชนีพื้นที่ใบข้าวจะลดลงเนื่องจากใบเหี่ยวแห้งและใบมีจำนวนลดลง ข้าวพันธุ์ กข49 จะมีค่าดัชนีพื้นที่ใบสูงกว่า ปทุมธานี 1 และ กข31 ในทุกอัตราปุ๋ยเคมี ตามลำดับ แสดงให้เห็นว่าพันธุ์ข้าวและอัตราปุ๋ยเคมีมีผลต่อค่าดัชนีพื้นที่ใบ
