| Resumo: |
Evaluation of the ability of rice varieties in resistance to brown plant hopper was performed using seed box screen test. The brown plant hopers (BPH) were collected from rice paddy fields in Phitsanulok, Chainat, and Ang Thong Province. From cluster analysis at level 0.8, there were three different groups classified by the different level of rice plant damage after treated by the insects. The three different level of damage were graded by the ability in resistance to the BPH as resistance, moderately resistance and susceptible. Considering in biotype of the BPH, the results indicated that there were variety of BPH biotypes in each samples collected from the three different provinces. Mainly, the biotype 4 and 5 were indentified in these samples. However, there were differences in ratio of these two biotypes in each sample and this might be a reason of the difference level of BPH resistance. In the BPH samples collected from Chainat and Ang Thong, there was a higher number of biotype 5 than biotype 4. On the other hand the number of biotype 4 were higher than biotype 5 in the sample collected from Phitsanulok area.
การประเมินปฏิกิริยาความต้านทานของข้าวต่อการเข้าทำลายของเพลี้ยกระโดดสีน้ำตาลบนข้าวพันธุ์ทดสอบที่มียีนต้านทานต่างกัน (differential genes varieties set) โดยวิธีทดสอบแบบ seed box screening test พบว่า ตัวอย่างประชากรเพลี้ยกระโดดสีน้ำตาลที่ระบาดในธรรมชาติจากแปลงเกษตรกรพื้นที่ 3 จังหวัด ได้แก่ พิษณุโลก ชัยนาท และอ่างทอง ผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล แบบ cluster analysis ที่ระยะ 0.8 สามารถแบ่งกลุ่มเพลี้ยกระโดดสีน้ำตาลออกเป็น 3 กลุ่ม ตามปฏิกิริยาความรุนแรงของพันธุ์ข้าวที่ถูกทำลายที่สัมพันธ์ใกล้ชิดกัน คือ ระดับต้านทาน ต้านทานปานกลาง และอ่อนแอถึงอ่อนแอมาก ซึ่งผลของการแบ่งกลุ่มประชากรแมลงในทั้ง 3 ประชากรเป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน เมื่อเปรียบเทียบปฏิกิริยาพันธุ์ทดสอบต่อชีวชนิด (Biotype) ของเพลี้ยกระโดดสีน้ำตาล พบว่า ประชากรแมลงทั้ง 3 จังหวัด มีความหลากหลาย ของชีวชนิดที่ปะปนกันของกลุ่มประชากรที่คล้ายคลึงกับชีวชนิดที่ 4 และชีวชนิดที่ 5 โดยในแต่ละจังหวัดมีสัดส่วนที่แตกต่างกัน ดังนี้ ตัวอย่างประชากรเพลี้ยกระโดดสีน้ำตาลในพื้นที่จังหวัดชัยนาท และจังหวัดอ่างทอง แนวโน้มสัดส่วนของแมลงที่ปะปนกันเป็นชีวชนิดที่ 5 มากกว่า ชีวชนิดที่ 4 ขณะที่เพลี้ยกระโดดสีน้ำตาลในพื้นที่จังหวัดพิษณุโลก มีแนวโน้มสัดส่วนของแมลงที่ปะปนกันเป็นชีวชนิดที่ 4 มากกว่า ชีวชนิดที่ 5 ทั้งนี้ปฏิกิริยาสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพันธุ์ทดสอบที่มียีนต้านทานต่างกันกับกลุ่มประชากรเพลี้ยกระโดดสีน้ำตาล จะแสดงให้เห็นถึงความแตกต่างของความรุนแรง (virulence) ในการเข้าทำลายอันก่อให้เกิดความเสียหายต่อพันธุ์ข้าวที่ปลูกอยู่ในเขตพื้นที่นั้นๆ
