(Miracinae)) have been reared from the pistachio twig borer moth (Kermania pistaciella Amsel) (Tineidae). Both species are described and illustrated; Centistidea pistaciella spec. nov. is included in a new subgenus (Paracentistidea subgen. nov. with C. pistaciella spec. nov. as type species) and a key to the Palaearctic and North Oriental species of the genus Centistidea Rohwer is added.
