The production models of Schaefer and Fox are used to determine the optimal effort of benthic trawlers in Tunis Gulf. The necessary data for the application of these models were collected from services of General Direction of Fishing and Aquaculture (DGPA). They are related to the two fisheries which exploit the benthic resources : trawling and coastal fishing and are extended over 12 years (from 1988 to 1999). The unit of effort selected, which gives the best correlation coefficient is the number at days at sea times : The day number at sea time the engine power of the fleet. In the current exploitation state, the optimal effort is estimated at 15 benthic trawlers with an average power of 450 cv.
تم تطبيق النماذج لشيفر و فوكس على المعطيات الخاصة بالإنتاج و مجهود الصيد للكركارة القاعية و إنتاج وحدات الصيد الساحلي العاملة بخليج تونس لتحديد العدد الأمثل لوحدات الجر القاعي التي يمكنها العمل بهذه المنطقة دون الإضرار بالثروة السمكية. وشملت المعطيات التي وقع جمعها، وإدراجها في النماذج اثنتا عشرة (12) سنة أي من 1988 إلى 1999. لقد تم انتقاء وحدة المجهود المثلى لهذه الدراسة. وهي تتمثل في ازدواج أيام الإبحار و قوة المحرك. قدر المجهود الأمثل ب15 وحدة كر كارة قاعية ذات معدل قوة 450 حصان بخاري في الوضع الحالي للاستغلال
Les modèles de production de Schaefer et de Fox ont été utilisés pour déterminer l'effort optimal de chalutage benthique dans le golfe de Tunis. Les données nécessaires pour l'application de ces modèles ont été recueillies auprès des services de la Direction Générale de la Pêche et de l'Aquaculture (DGPA). Ces données qui s’étendent sur une période de 12 ans (1988-1999) concernent deux métiers exploitant les ressources benthiques du golfe de Tunis à savoir la pêche côtière et le chalutage benthique. L'unité d'effort sélectionnée, qui donne le meilleur coefficient de corrélation, est le produit du nombre de jours en mer et la puissance motrice (JM*CV). Dans les conditions actuelles d’exploitation, l'effort optimal a été estimé à 15 chalutiers benthiques d'une puissance moyenne de 450 cv.
