O objetivo foi avaliar o efeito da adubação nitrogenada e fosfatada sobre teores de proteína bruta (PB), fibra em detergente neutro (FDN), fibra em detergente ácido (FDA), digestibilidade in vitro da matéria seca (DIVMS) e teores de fósforo (P) do capim Marandu (Brachiaria brizantha (Hochst) Stapf cv. Marandu), com níveis de nitrogênio (0; 200; 400; 600kgha-1 de N) e fósforo (0; 50; 100; 150; 200kgha-1 de P2O5), no período de verão (PV) e inverno (PI). O teor de PB e P aumentou, com a elevação de nitrogênio (N), linear (p < 0,05), e quadrático, respectivamente no PV. Entretanto, a FDN decresceu nos dois períodos (p < 0,05), ocorrendo no PV interação nitrogênio e fósforo, e efeito linear do nitrogênio no PI. A FDA apresentou decréscimo nos dois períodos (p < 0,05), em função do nitrogênio. A aplicação do nitrogênio e de fósforo não melhorou a DIVMS, muito embora, tenha promovido redução da FDN e FDA.
The carried out to estimate the effect of nitrogen and phosphorus’ fertilization on the crude protein (CP) content, neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), dry matter digestibility (IVDMD), and phosphorus’ content in dry matter of Marandu grass (Brachiaria brizantha Stapf cv. Marandu) in summer period (SP) and winter period (WP), under crescent levels of nitrogen (0; 200; 400; 600kgha-1) and phosphorus’ fertilization (0; 50; 100; 150; 200kgha-1). The CP and P content showed a increase by crescent levels of nitrogen (P < 0.05), with a linear effect and a quadratic response, respectively, at SP. However, the NDF showed a decrease in two periods (P < 0.05), and at RP it showed an association effect of nitrogen/phosphorus, and a linear effect by crescent levels of nitrogen at WP. The ADF showed a linear decrease at SP and WP, by crescent levels of nitrogen. The nitrogen and phosphorus’ fertilization did not make better the IVDMD, however, there was a lower decrease at FDA, FDN.
