Turkish NODC operates under the organization of Department of Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography (DNHO). Turkish NODC has a data base management system, and allocated experts for this mission. The center gets oceanographic data from the naval vessels, research vessels of the other Turkish institutes, and through exchange programs in the international level. The center provides data for educational and research purposes free of charge.
