All transformation processes of water in the hydrological cycle are important for the sustainability of the soil, but the infiltration is the most important process. The sensors are devices used to detect stimuli or signs of physical nature resulting from the variation in pressure, humidity, luminosity, etc.. This work had the objective to evaluate the moisture at three depths of the soil profile by monitoring based on measure of electrical resistance in two parallel areas (same soil, same face, same slope and next) in areas planted with eucalyptus in fase of growth and pasture. It was concluded that were significant difference between the pasture area and the eucalyptus area, where the eucalyptus area showed less humid in a general throughout time.
