The SEBAL is an algorithm that has as advantage the capability to estimate the energy fluxes from the soil surface in an effective and economical way. This work was carried out to estimate the radiation balance and the soil heat flux in regional scale by means of the SEBAL algorithm (Surface Energy Balance Algorithm for Land) and Landsat 5 images TM. The estimates of the radiation balance (Rn) and soil heat flux (G) for the 06/07/2003 presented average values in the scene of 548.57 Wm-2 and 47.48 Wm-2, respectively.
