Currently, there are great interests in rubber tree planting by farmer in the Northeastern Thailand and the neighboring countries, due to its high return. As a result, there is a question of what are the differences of the rubber production behavioral aspect between the smallholder in the Northeast Thailand and the neighboring countries. Nakhon Phanom province, Thailand and Khammouane province, Lao PDR were chosen as study site. Secondary data, individual and group interviews, and field surveys were used as data collection in during 2010.
