The West Palaearctic species of the subfamily Paxylommatinae are reviewed and the species of the genus Hybrizon Fallén, 1813, from the Palaearctic region are keyed. Hybrizon juncoi (Ceballos, 1957) is recognized as a valid species, a neotype is designated for Hybrizon latebricola Nees, 1834, and a lectotype is designated for Plancus apicalis Curtis, 1833. Paxylomma grandis Rudow, 1883, Ogkosoma schwarzi Haupt, 1913, and Eurypterna arakawae Matsumura, 1918, are new junior synonyms of Eurypterna cremieri (de Romand, 1838). |

The phylogeny of the mainly Australian nepticulid genus Pectinivalva Scoble, 1983 is investigated on the basis of morphology, and a division into three monophyletic subgenera is proposed on the basis of these results. These subgenera (Pectinivalva, Casanovula Hoare, subgen. n. and Menurella Hoare, subgen. n. ) are described and diagnosed, the described species of Pectinivalva are assigned to them, and representative new species are described in each: P. (P.) mystaconota Hoare, sp. n., P. (C.) brevipalpa Hoare, sp. n., P. (C.) minotaurus Hoare, sp. n., P. (M.) scotodes Hoare, sp. n., P. (M.) acmenae Hoare, sp. n., P. A revised key to the females of the Palaearctic species of the genus Plectiscidea Viereck, 1914 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae; Oxytorinae) is given. Two new species from Siberia are described: Plectiscidea (Plectiscidea) obscura and P. (P.) spuria. Of P. (P.) subteres (Thomson, 1888) and P. (P.) melanocera (Forster, 1871) a new survey of characters is given. The holotype of Aniseres lubricus Förster, 1871 was re-examined and it is ascertained that it represents a species of Pantisarthrus Förster, 1871. One new species of the genus Aniseres Förster, 1871, is described, A. paradoxus spec, nov., and two new species of the genus Eusterinx Förster: E. (? Holomeristus) similis and E. (? Holomeristus) truculenta. A revised key to the females of the Palaearctic... |

The genera and species of the subfamily Rogadinae Foerster, 1862 sensu stricto from China are revised. A key to the Chinese genera is given and all genera, including three genera new to science and four new to China, are described and illustrated. Keys to the Chinese species of Rogadinae are provided. Of all 116 species, 46 species are described as new to science and 11 species as newly recorded from China, while in addition four new combinations (Arcaleiodes aglaurus (Chen & He, 1991), A. nitidus (Chen & He, 1991), A. pulchricorpus (Chen & He, 1991), and A. unifasciatus (Chen & He, 1991)) and one synonym (Spinaria bicolor Szépligeti, 1902, of S. armator (Fabricius, 1804)) are proposed. |

Three closely related Palaearctic genera of the subtribe Brachistina, Foersteria Szépligeti, 1896, Polydegmon Foerster, 1862 and Chelostes gen. nov. (type-species: C. robustus spec. nov. from Turkey) are revised and illustrated. The Holarctic genera of the subtribe Brachistina are keyed and two new species are described from Turkey. The genus Aliolus Say, 1836 is synonymized with the genus Eubazus Nees, 1814. Helcon puber Haliday, 1835 is a new senior synonym of Calyptus opacus Reinhard, 1867, Foersteria flavipes Szépligeti, 1896 and F. talitzkii Tobias, 1961, and is included in the genus Foersteria (comb. nov.). Finally Polydegmon marshalli Szépligeti, 1896 is synonymized with P. foveolatus (Herrich-Schäffer, 1838). Foersteria vardzia Enukidze, 1976 is... |

Baker, D.B.. |
The Asian species of Euaspis are reviewed. Euaspis carbonaria of authors is shown to be composite: a lectotype is designated and the species with which carbonaria has long been confused is described as Euaspis edentata spec. nov. Euaspis lorenzae spec. nov. is described from the Philippines and E. wegneri spec. nov. from Bacan (Moluccas). Two species described by Pasteels from 'Arabia' are shown to be of Bornean origin. Euaspis bakeri (Viereck, 1924) is synonymized with E. strandi Meyer, 1922, for which a lectotype is designated (the type locality Sikhim given by Meyer for this taxon is apparently false), and E. impressa (Viereck, 1924) with E. polynesia Vachal, 1903. |
