The Old World species of Boehmeria (Urticaceae, tribus Boehmerieae). A taxonomic revision Naturalis
Wilmot-Dear, C.M.; Friis, I..
This is the second part of a world-wide revision of the genus Boehmeria, the previously-published part having dealt with the New World species. The Old World species are widely distributed in the tropics and subtropics from West Africa to islands in the Pacific Ocean and from Japan and China to Southern Africa, Madagascar and Australia, with the highest species richness in the Himalayas and their extension into China and Indochina. No indigenous species is common to both the Old and New World. The species represent taxonomic units of very different complexity: most species exhibit little infraspecific variation; in several others formal taxonomic infraspecific units can be recognised; however, in two, B. virgata and B. japonica, a highly complex variation...

Doryctorgilus gen. nov. and other new taxa, with a study of the internal microsculpture of the ovipositor in the subfamily Orgilinae Ashmead (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) Naturalis
Braet, Y.; Achterberg, C. van.
One new monotypic genus of the subfamily Orgilinae Ashmead, 1900 (type species: D. morvanae spec. nov.), two new species of the genus Podorgilus van Achterberg, 1994 (P. nemorensis spec. nov. and P. luteus spec. nov.) and one new species of the genus Agathis Latreille, 1804 (A. depressifrons spec. nov.) are described. The internal microsculpture of the ovipositor in several genera of the subfamily Orgilinae has been examined and revealed several new features with a potentially high phylogenetic value. A cladistic analysis has been performed with some of these new character-states which corroborate the recognition of the tribe Mimagathidini Enderlein, 1905 (excluding the subtribe Mesocoelina Viereck, 1918), and support the division of this subfamily into...

A review of the Asian species of the genus Euaspis Gerstäcker (Hymenoptera: Apoidea: Megachilidae) Naturalis
Baker, D.B..
The Asian species of Euaspis are reviewed. Euaspis carbonaria of authors is shown to be composite: a lectotype is designated and the species with which carbonaria has long been confused is described as Euaspis edentata spec. nov. Euaspis lorenzae spec. nov. is described from the Philippines and E. wegneri spec. nov. from Bacan (Moluccas). Two species described by Pasteels from 'Arabia' are shown to be of Bornean origin. Euaspis bakeri (Viereck, 1924) is synonymized with E. strandi Meyer, 1922, for which a lectotype is designated (the type locality Sikhim given by Meyer for this taxon is apparently false), and E. impressa (Viereck, 1924) with E. polynesia Vachal, 1903.
