| The Danish Research Centre for Organic Farming (DARCOF) was established in 1995 as a so-called "centre without walls" where the actual research is performed in interdisciplinary collaboration between the participating research groups. The remit of DARCOF is to coordinate research for organic farming, with a view to achieving optimum benefit from the allocated resources. Its aim is to elucidate the ideas and problems faced in organic farming through the promotion of high quality research of international stan-dard. |

| Doel Analyseren en ontwerpen van verschillende vormen van intersectorale samenwerking tussen alle biologische sectoren (daarnaast ook de afvalstromen uit industrie, natuurgebieden en samenleving), waarbij het sluiten van kringlopen centraal staat. Intersectorale samenwerking zal worden geanalyseerd op verschillende schaalniveaus (bedrijf, regio, land, continent), waarbij oplossingen worden getoetst aan de intenties van biologische landbouw (IFOAM en milieunormen). Resultaten Er wordt kennis geïntegreerd, ontwikkeld, gerapporteerd en overgedragen aangaande een biologische landbouw die op integere wijze produceert en middels intersectorale samenwerking het sluiten van kringlopen nastreeft.
