| The continuous use of pesticides protecting plants from diseases can result in several damages due the environmental pollution and food residues. Thus, it is necessary the search for new plant diseases control technology. The objective of this study was to evaluate the in vitro antimicrobial activity against Alternaria solani and Xanthomonas vesicatoria and the control of early blight and bacterial spot on tomato plants, using stable formulation, as soluble powder, from Pycnoporus sanguineus. | The objective of this study was to analyze the profile of milk consumers in the city of Maringá, PR and identify the determinants in the choice of food products. Semistructured forms were used, containing sociodemographic questions and about the consumption behavior of 328 milk consumers in the municipality of Maringá, PR. Data were tabulated and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Sociodemographic variables were confronted with determinants of purchase. The majority of the sample interviewed (60.50%) were female, with a mean age above 31 years, with higher education and income of 5.88 minimum monthly salaries. | The objective of this study was to evaluate the physiological performance of seeds and seedlings of tomato under the influence of different temperatures. The experiment was conducted in the Didactic Laboratory of Seed Analysis – ERS, UFPel. Gaúcho® tomato seeds were used. Treatments consisted of the constant temperatures 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26 ºC. | The preservation of floral stems aims to prolong durability, maintain quality and reduce losses after harvesting, leading to a longer shelf life and commercialization of these products. In that there is a storage period, especially, of cut plants relatively short between seven and 15 days, this being one of the most important stages of the floricultural sector, ensuring the maintenance of the balance of the distribution market to the final consumer. | As funções de densidade de probabilidade (fdp’s) descrevem uma estrutura diamétrica das populações florestais, permitindo ocorrer e obter probabilidade de árvores dentro das classes de diâmetro. O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar a melhor função, através do ajustamento das funções de densidade de probabilidade para descrever duas áreas de Cerrado sendo: Cerrado sensu stricto (3,89 ha) e Mata Ciliar (2,1 ha) perfazendo um total de 6,0 ha. | This project aim to evaluate the efficiency of spreading droplets in solutions with biological insecticide and adjuvants in leaves of different varieties of cassava. The experimental design was entirely randomized in a factorial 3x7, with four replications. An alternative source material is the crambe (Crambe abyssinica Hochst), but little is known about this culture. | The aim of the present study was to evaluate the potential utilization of DDGS on diet of Nile Tilapia by chemical and digestibility analyses. Firstly, the chemical composition of the ingredient was evaluated and then were made two diets: a reference one and a test diet made of 80% with the reference diet and 20% with DDGS, for the digestibility study. For the faeces collection was used the indirect method, using chromium oxide as an inert marker. After the collection, the faeces were destined to chemical composion analysis and so the experimental diets. With the results, the Nile Tilapia coefficient of digestibility of the DDGS nutrients was calculated. | The knowledge about the technological properties of the wood enables the achievement of tools that assist in the adequate use of this material. Therefore, the aim of this study was accomplish the technological characterization of Eucalyptus benthamii wood for potential uses. For this, it was used six trees of the forestry plantation implanted in the Guatambu city, Santa Catarina State, Brazil.
